22/03/2026: Found it by chance for a quick lunch in Città della Pieve. A revelation: freshly baked bread, excellent ingredients, and a very kind and friendly owner in a truly welcoming little place. Highly recommended; try it and believe it!

07/01/2026: The space is spacious and clean. Despite the fire, there's absolutely no smell, which isn't a given.
The service is exceptionally polite and fast.
The meat is excellent.
The platters are delicious.
We were able to enjoy lunch with my furry friends, and we weren't the only ones.
Despite this, I repeat, everything is very clean.
Thank you.

The staff was friendly, and despite the restaurant being busy, they were attentive and helpful. I recommend it to everyone!!

10/04/2026: I couldn't believe it: so close to the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, just 50 meters away, there's such a beautiful structure. Evocative interiors with carved rock, a magnificent garden outside, and truly beautiful lava stone tables. Luckily, I took the advice: I came and had a truly wonderful meal.
10/04/2026: The garden is beautiful, well-kept with plants and colorful, uniquely crafted lava stone tables. The brickwork throughout makes the atmosphere even more welcoming. The interior is also fantastic, with a charming and characterful dining room.
The staff is truly helpful, and the food is delicious: it's definitely not a touristy place, despite the very reasonable prices. And it's worth noting: it's just 50 steps from the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi.

17/03/2026: We spent three days in Assisi and found this restaurant for dinner. After trying it on the first night, we decided to eat there the other nights as well. What can I say...a truly beautiful, well-kept place with very kind and helpful staff. The cuisine is traditional Umbrian, using top-quality ingredients. If you're passing through, you absolutely must stop by this restaurant. A tip for dessert? Order the chocolate cake, it's divine. Thanks to all the staff.

04/04/2026: A truly complete experience! Michele is a welcoming, cheerful, and down-to-earth host. Without too many etiquette frills, he offers fast and efficient service! Authentic food, evidently high-quality ingredients, and flavors from days gone by in a warm atmosphere, like a loving grandmother's home! Very fair prices! Highly recommended if you're in Trevi in the evening!
22/03/2026: A place from another era. A dive into the past, where taverns and trattorias were just like that. The space is tiny, furnished with every antique, from paintings to televisions, and even sideboards. The cuisine is simple, rustic, and faithful to the place and the culinary traditions of the good old days. Michele is the real star of the show, and the atmosphere quickly becomes familiar and friendly, even with the customers at the tables next door. Reservations are essential, as tables are truly limited.

The family running the place are incredibly warm and attentive, and their genuine hospitality really sets the tone.
The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients—and the wine selection paired beautifully with the meal. Everything we tried was memorable.

25/12/2025: Unfortunately my experience which took place on Christmas Day was negative, I must say that I had booked a month in advance and instead they had not marked the reservation by putting us in a room that was not heated by the sun, we ate with our coats there were 4 of us. The waiters who logically put their faces on it every time they came apologized so a 10 to them who are polite and good at their job but the organization leaves a lot to be desired, as for food I only liked the lasagna which was really good the presto did not satisfy me, you know it is a special day and it would be better to try on a quieter day. We will not return, the owner with whom we had the pleasure of speaking did not show up.
