A very nice and quiet place, with meticulously prepared, high-quality dishes. The meat is exceptional, definitely worth trying. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, it definitely deserves five stars. We'll definitely be back!

On the advice of a local lady sitting on the main street we ate very well pappardelle with Sagrantino, salmi guinea fowl, braised in Sagrantino, Montefalco red wine, everything was amazing, highly recommended, the prices were high but commensurate with the quality and goodness, the staff were kind, it was a shame that the air conditioning didn't work.

I celebrated my birthday here with two friends on the recommendation of several people, and it was fantastic. The restaurant is upscale, but not pretentious; meaning you wouldn't go in wearing a tank top and flip-flops, but otherwise, any attire is appropriate. Aside from another restaurant in Montefalco that's very popular (and, of course, more expensive) thanks to the Gambero Rosso TV shows, this one is number two in Montefalco, and even number one according to local recommendations. We all had pasta, and two of us ordered the outstanding "Papardelle ai funghi." Afterwards, we devoured a massive Florentine steak, weighing maybe 1.5 kilos, and had a hard time finishing it. The meat was wonderfully tender, from a local Chianina farm. We drank a delicious Sagrantino from Perticaia with it. It cost me €32 at the restaurant. Later, we visited the winery, where it would have cost €30, but our landlady recommended a discount to us. In other words, a fantastic price at the restaurant, almost no markup! All in all, a wonderful evening that we won't soon forget. For several courses, wine, and water, it came to about €60 per person.

A truly excellent experience! The meat was excellent, paired with an equally excellent wine. I also really enjoyed the first course, which was well-prepared and tasty. Impeccable service: attentive, friendly, and professional staff. I'll definitely be back!

The tagliata with oil, salt, and rosemary is excellent! The outdoor terrace doesn't have much seating but is very well-kept, surrounded by flower pots.

A gem in the town of Montefalco, with friendly and attentive service. People go there primarily for the meat, and I can confirm the quality is top-notch. The other dishes are excellent, too. The price is more than fair.

Had lunch here and experienced a good variety of the menu: everything was excellent. As a umbrian, I loved the lamb coratella, which I recommend. My wife had the baked pumpkin blossoms filled with ricotta and they were extremely good. For primo, I had the pappardelle al sagrantino. The pasta is home made, and you can taste it every bite. For secondo, we had the sagrantino filet (for me to complete the sagrantino journey) and the lamb chops. I recommend going in for a good wine: I paired my meal with a sagrantino montefalco Terre della Custodia canteen, which was one of the best addition to the meal, and reason why we dined in Montefalco. Overall, a nice lunch worth of the journey. I would come again. Look at the photos for reference.
