21/09/2025: In this little corner of Umbria, I ate creamed cod that I almost couldn't find in Venice.... Compliments to the chef 👏👏 .

18/09/2025: We were four for lunch, the atmosphere is welcoming, well-kept and nice, the owner was kind and very professional and showed attention to our needs, the prices were fair and the products were quality. We will be back.

21/11/2025: The name says it all! This place specializes exclusively (I want to emphasize this) in soups, with no other dishes except dessert. The soups change daily, which shows they always use fresh ingredients. You can check the website. I went for lunch; it was easy to find a table, but it's always best to reserve. I had beans and pork rind... incredible! I'll definitely be back!

09/11/2025: We were in Perugia for two days and last night we had dinner at this restaurant. By chance, while searching online, we were intrigued by the truffle. I'd say we had a sublime dinner! Super organized and professional, but above all, an excellent dining experience. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

06/10/2025: A lovely restaurant nestled in the beautiful Umbrian countryside between Montefalco and Spoleto! A dream location! Authentic flavors, friendly staff, but in my opinion, the prices are way too high! It's practically comparable to cities like Milan, Rome, and Venice. For an €80 lunch for two in Umbria, including two appetizers, two main courses, two glasses of wine, and two coffees, that seems like a lot!

05/10/2025: I took a trip to Umbria in early September. I have to say this was my favorite restaurant. The staff was truly warm and welcoming, offering you a glass of wine as soon as you sat down. The appetizers were simple but thoughtful, and the first and second courses were excellent! I highly recommend this place.

The service was attentive and fast (despite the restaurant being packed), the ingredients were fresh, and the selection of traditional Umbrian dishes was extensive. Authentic flavors at a more than fair price. The staff, finally, was super friendly. We'd recommend it ourselves!

18/11/2025: Very traditional!!! A hidden gem in Assisi! Me and my fiancée loved it! The truffles in the meals were deliciouss and the pasta amazing!!

02/11/2025: It might seem like a typical tourist trap, but it was anything but! We had polenta with classic ragù and wild boar ragù, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, meat with chicory, fruit, and dessert...all delicious! The prices were reasonable for the generous portions served. Great service; despite the crowds, we didn't have to wait forever between courses. The staff was very friendly and attentive! I recommend this place!

16/11/2025: It's a beautiful restaurant with a lake view. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. The dishes are truly generous and carefully prepared. I recommend the tegamaccio, a lake fish stew that's simply exceptional.

13/11/2025: It was a culinary experience we will never forget... Located in the historic center of Castiglione del Lago, it boasts a beautiful and refined atmosphere, bright, with soft, relaxing colors, and a huge floor-to-ceiling window offering a marvelous view of Lake Trasimeno. Excellent dishes (in our case, fish), beautifully presented. ...the staff was excellent, friendly, always smiling and helpful. The dessert, tiramisu, was delicious. And finally, I'll tell you a little gem: since we were here for dinner, we couldn't fully enjoy the lake view due to the darkness. Monica, who truly pampered us during dinner, invited us for coffee the next morning (and then offered us dessert), so we could take some photos. And so it was. Thank you, Monica, and thank you to the wonderful owner, whom we had the pleasure of meeting. We'll definitely see you again.

21/10/2025: Beautiful structure both inside and out, quiet area, very nice room, good food served by Mr. Nicola, kind person without being intrusive. I hope to be able to return at a time when we can appreciate the outside area. A piece of advice, if you want to go to this place (and you are right) on the road, proceed slowly by car (especially after dusk) because the deer appear suddenly!

21/10/2025: We arrived at this corner of paradise after reading truly excellent reviews and therefore with high expectations. We were HUGELY disappointed. The tagliatelle arrived cold, they had to make me remake it... it was still tasteless... the grilled meats arrived... pale, undercooked (the ribs were still pink), served on a small plate 😳 and to top it off, a ridiculous tiramisu! Not ladyfingers, not soggy, not a decent portion! The price was unjustified! Maybe the real chef was on vacation, but anyway, a shame for such an enchanting place!

17/11/2025: Exceptional quality, attentive and punctual service. The gnocchi al Sagrantino were truly delicious, and the lamb chops are something I'll remember for a long time.

Of all the restaurants we tried during our holiday in Umbria, this was definitely the best. The food was of the highest quality. Generous portions. Very friendly and professional service.
