03/07/2026: I will definitely return to Taverna Del Verziere, as I have been doing for some time now, being a regular. This time, too, was a truly fantastic experience! The food is always top-notch, but the cappellaccio I had today was simply excellent. Special praise also goes to the staff, who are very young, but despite their age, demonstrate a professionalism and customer service that are truly rare. Every time I sit outside, I'm always amazed by the breathtaking view. Dining with such a view of Montone makes everything even more magical. Highly recommended. I also recommend making a reservation before arriving, as they are often full.

05/07/2026: Simply perfect! We just returned from the wedding. Stunning location (immersed and isolated in the greenery of the hill with dual lake views). Ample parking. The interior is characteristic of the venue. Large and well-kept outdoor space. Refined, high-quality food served both inside and out in an impeccable, practical, and refined manner. Last but not least, the owner and all the staff: top marks for their professionalism, hospitality, helpfulness, patience, and...so much friendliness! Highly recommended! Go and see for yourself, your eyes, and your palate. Seeing is believing.

09/06/2026: Had dinner last night in this restaurant, housed in a beautiful historical building overlooking Piazza del Comune. The terrace offers a stunning setting for al fresco dining, and enjoying the fresh evening breeze while taking in the view made the experience even more memorable. Moreno, the owner, warmly welcomed us and shared the rich and fascinating history of both the restaurant and the local culinary traditions, adding a personal touch that made us appreciate the experience even more. The food was outstanding and the service impeccable from start to finish. We started with the tagliere, featuring an excellent selection of local cold cuts, cheeses, and other regional specialties. For our main courses, we enjoyed the pappardelle al cinghiale and the lamb, both of which were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Everything about our evening was exceptional—the atmosphere, the hospitality, and the quality of the food. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience.

Unfortunately, the rabbit in porchetta was probably the worst I've had among the Umbrian restaurants I've tried on this trip, and there are now more than half a dozen. It's a shame, because the place has a pleasant atmosphere and the service was friendly, but overall the experience was too inconsistent to give a higher rating. For this reason, I can only give it three stars.

05/07/2026: A tiny osteria in the historic center of Trevi. The location has an authentic, welcoming, and traditional atmosphere, not touristy. The service is impeccable, fast, thoughtful, and attentive (she's excellent), and the food is delicious. All this at a very reasonable price (especially compared to many others in the area...) Well done guys, we had a great time!

05/07/2026: It's hard to find a place with such affordable dishes and such excellent quality, and La Bigonza is one of them. We were truly amazed by the deliciousness and exquisiteness of these dishes at a ridiculous price compared to everything else we tried during our week-long vacation in Umbria. From the presentation to the service, from the friendliness of the girl who served us to the atmosphere of the restaurant (really small, with only a few seats, but that makes all the difference...I hope it never gets bigger), we found everything excellent. The only downside is that it's almost always sold out, so make sure you book ahead, especially on weekends. Highly recommended, truly delicious, homemade food! Kudos to the chef for his culinary ideas, top-notch and unconventional menu...truly well done.
