Ristorante Il Giurista In Perugia

Our family went here for a truly lovely and special dinner while we were visiting Perugia. The food was excellent: beautifully plated and delicious. The rabbit and the truffle puff pastry were particularly excellent.

Lives up to its rating. Very good for it's price-class. Professional staff and really good food. The chocolate cake with mascarpone and a passito di sagrantino on the side was a sublime experience. We might just have to come back here a second time.

This restaurant, located in Perugia's historic center, was discovered through a Google search. The host welcomed us with great professionalism, and the equally knowledgeable waiters made us feel at ease right away. Now for the dinner...what can I say? Exceptional!!! A platter of high-quality Umbrian cured meats, masterfully prepared first courses (try the pumpkin and saffron gnocchi, they're spectacular), and top-quality ingredients. A Michelin star is well-deserved. Congratulations to all of you.

This 4x Michelin Guide recommended restaurant hidden in the center of Perugia is truly a little gem to find. An excellent wine selection, including local producers, and a menu chock full of eclectic and traditional Umbrian cuisine. We had made reservations on The Fork and we were quickly seated conveniently in a wine room. As a family of 7, we like to order family style, and we tried several menu items including the recommended souffle with pear sauce. The food is really delicious and suitably sized. Most menu items were between 12 and 25 Euro and with 3 courses and a bottle of wine, we averaged about 33 Euro per person. Personally, I went super traditionalist and local for this meal. My favorite was the Wild Boar Stew, a local traditional dish that is highly flavorful and incredibly delicious! The potatoes side went extremely well with it. My wife had the Braised Short Ribs and It was incredibly good, too. The canneloni with white beef ragout was a big hit as well and shareable. The Michelin recommendation is well deserved. Not sure if I'll ever be back to Perugia, but if so, I will return. Thank you to our server Nazar and the entire team for welcoming us and our family.

High end dining experience for not much money. Wine was well paired with meat forward options. Food was prepared and presented well. Service was mostly attentive and they were kid friendly. The ambiance was pretty good. We dined downstairs and it showed off the historical architecture well. We were very pleased with quality of the food and the traditional Umbrian flavors.

We came to Umbria for a two-day getaway and chose this restaurant because we were intrigued by the name and the reviews. Simply WONDERFUL, from the location (those illuminated steps are evocative), to the impeccable and never intrusive service, the superb food, and the extensive wine selection. Everything was perfect, we'll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We ate so well, and they treated us so well. You should consider that the liver appetizer is so generous, perhaps just to share; the truffle in the pasta is overly generous, but it doesn't have much flavor. The staff are very kind. As a restaurateur, I highly recommend this place in Perugia.

Superb menu. Delicious regional food. Generous with the shaved truffle. Sirloin possibly slightly rarer than expected but honestly the tastiest I’ve ever had and super tender. Beats many a steakhouse. Excellent house wine at reasonable price. Chocolate soufflé perfect! Service very traditional and attentive. Highly recommend
