Probably one of the most romantic and cozy spots in Merano. Even though the Chamber of Commerce has its offices right next door 😎 Top-notch service! And – probably the most delicious olives you'll get with your drink. Nicely spiced.

We were here for a quick snack and ordered the toast. For the price, we really expected something special. Unfortunately, it was just blandly topped, tasteless, and served with a pre-made sauce. Totally overpriced.

Absolutely delicious! 👍 Crispy baguette, great garlic flavor, fantastic bruschetta. The Limoncello Spritz was also very tasty and intense. Price-wise, it's expensive, but not outrageously so. Perfectly fine! 👍

We had a delicious speck & cheese platter, on their internal terrace, it was so nice and cosy! The staff was so friendly and attentive even in high season with a completely full house. We really had a lovely break while walking and shopping around town, my dog really appreciated the quiet corner. Perfect little cosy place!

Restaurant Traube

19/04/2026: We were on a day trip to Lana and had reserved a table at the Traube restaurant. It wasn't really necessary that day, but you never know. The restaurant is about 10 minutes from the town center, unfortunately located at a roundabout – which makes the noise level in the small beer garden quite high. However, the food was fantastic – it was very difficult to choose, as so many dishes appealed to us – but that gives us a reason to come back. One minor drawback was the long wait for the bill at the end, even though only three tables were occupied.
04/04/2026: It was absolutely wonderful. The food was incredibly good and the team was very friendly. Highly recommended!

06/07/2026: We were here for lunch in the afternoon: Great service, super delicious food. We had the three dumplings (spinach, cheese, and bacon) with salad and a cold cut platter. For dessert, a yeast dumpling. It was so good! The sauce on the yeast dumpling was so delicious. Thank you!
02/06/2026: Food was good, service was okay, but not very welcoming.
