27/09/2025: I bought a slice of Schwarzplententorte (buckwheat flour and jam) and an apple strudel. I really liked the buckwheat cake, but the apple strudel wasn't.

08/08/2025: The cashier serving customers today at 4:50 pm was shocked by her unacceptable behavior. We asked her for sweet pretzels, and she gave us some that weren't fresh! Then we asked her to change them, but she refused and swore in German! When I told her, "We understand what you're saying and will file a complaint against you through Google Reviews," she hit the pastries on the counter in a very rude manner. We asked her name, and she refused and continued speaking German. She is over 50 years old, has short curly hair, and wears glasses. 11/11/2025: The poke and sushi in general are excellent. The problem is the rudeness of the current staff (there used to be a very kind, always smiling girl), who yells at the bill because you can't substitute two vegetables in the poke. Perhaps a polite explanation before putting it together would be much more professional. I'm a regular customer, but faced with such rudeness, I won't be returning; I'm sorry.

13/02/2026: After sitting for half an hour, the waiter didn't even look at me. I had to go and order at the counter. The tables were dirty, and the sugar bowl was missing (what's that on the table for?) I also heard several tourists complaining about the terrible service. Change the staff ;)

08/11/2025: A vintage venue, surrounded by greenery, with a wonderful view, friendly owners, fast service, and generous dishes! You don't have to be overly pretentious, and you can enjoy the simplicity of a place run by a couple who have undoubtedly spent their entire lives here.

17/10/2025: A small restaurant right next to the top station of the chairlift. Everything is a bit vintage, but somehow still very cozy. From the garden, you have a beautiful panoramic view of Algund and all the way to Merano. The menu offers a good selection of food and drinks. I had a very tasty Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancake with pancakes). The prices are reasonable. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The senior manager was a very pleasant conversationalist. The short break was worth it.

25/02/2026: I discovered this place by chance a few years ago without leaving a review, but I've returned now. The breakfast products are super good, especially the puff pastry: fragrant and beautifully filled. The gelato is also very good, with truly perfect flavors. Perfect for both a delicious breakfast and a sweet break during the day. Plus, the staff is really kind and helpful, which is always a pleasure! I recommend it ❤️

22/02/2026: I had a kind of brioche with custard and raspberries. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo—because I devoured it in no time—but it was truly delicious. The staff were friendly and smiling. 😊 A word of advice, though: take a look at the prices again. I literally spent €6.50 for the brioche and a 10-ounce macchiato. It seems decidedly outrageous, and I see the other reviews are echoing that sentiment.

Not only did we wait over 50 minutes for our order to arrive with only a few tables occupied, but we had to repeat the order countless times and request the missing table settings at least four times. For the price, I'd say the service was truly terrible.

28/12/2025: Embarrassing, I went back hoping I'd been unlucky the first time... 45 minutes waiting for a glass of wine, an hour and twenty minutes after ordering, not even the semblance of a crust of bread... Too bad.

10/12/2025: Terrible welcome. We waited ten minutes for someone to come over for coffee, and in the end, they didn't even say hello.

31/08/2025: Based on email correspondence: the restaurant enforces a dress code and does not admit guests in trekking attire. I decided not to visit — if you have coeliac disease and are counting on a gluten-free meal after coming off the trail, it’s better to look for another place.”

17/02/2026: I don't think the negative reviews apply to this place. Home-cooked food, tried-and-tested dishes, and high-quality local ingredients. Never disappointed! The place isn't trendy, but simple, for those who appreciate substance over appearance.
