01/02/2026: Don‘t go there. I first thought the many 1 star ratings can’t be true and are a campaign by competitors, then I went there: not friendly, overpriced, food not good, „force“ you to tip (although they also have a basic service charge of 2,50€ per person). On the way in he helped us carry the stroller up and down the stairs. On the way out he didn’t bother. Tourist trap. Rather skip a meal.
01/02/2026: Good coffee, very poor baked goods.
Sacher torte - very poor.
Ricotta cake - inedible.
Tiramisu - not tiramisu.
A huge disappointment.

29/10/2025: A super friendly innkeeper for many years. The food selection is great and plentiful for a grill place. Whenever I'm in the Brenner Pass, I always enjoy going to Luis's.

10/08/2025: The hotel is in a great location right in the center, a great location but it also has some drawbacks, if you have a room next to the road, there's the problem of cars and noisy engines... The breakfast is plentiful and correct, the service is on a high level, so I recommend this place to all quick travelers

02/01/2026: On New Year's Day, we had lunch at the bistro: the table staff were attentive and very kind, and gave us great advice. We sat facing the functional kitchen area, where we watched the fantastic, friendly chef at work, so precise and fast.
The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff was attentive (despite the looming holiday).
31/12/2025: Unfortunately, very disappointing! We went to the Christmas Balls restaurant for lunch on New Year's Eve. We waited 15 minutes before anyone even came. The portions are incredibly small, but at least they taste good. However, you still have to buy a kebab or something similar afterward. On top of that, there's a €150 minimum spend required for lunch. The service wasn't great either. The waiter only spoke Italian and no German or English.

25/08/2025: Beautiful, traditional, family-run restaurant. You're welcomed like family with a smile and kindness. The food is truly delicious and home-cooked. The prices are very reasonable. We had a really good time and I highly recommend it for a traditional meal.
