16/11/2025: Ordered coffee today... forgettable, very bitter and completely without crema... I don't call that coffee art. The service was very rude.

21/09/2025: On previous visits to Merano, I've really enjoyed my Schreyögg espresso here. I was looking forward to it yesterday morning, too. The waitress, a woman in her mid-50s with blonde, chin-length hair, asked if she could help me. I said, "No, thanks, I'm still looking around." She replied, "Look... we're not a museum!" I then apologized and left. I won't be returning and would rather cherish the memories of better times.

15/08/2025: I spent two weeks in Val Badia and ate about fifteen strudels (it's my passion). I must say, with regret, that the one I ate in this bakery was by far the worst.

07/08/2025: Wednesday, August 6, 2025, a town festival with stalls and street food. A display of sweets outside what I thought was a pastry shop. Five euros for a slice of Sacher torte to take away, which I immediately found pricey... but incredibly expensive once I got home: it wasn't a Sacher torte. The dough was extremely dry, more like a sponge cake with a little cocoa than the rich, buttery dough of the traditional recipe. The cocoa topping looked like icing or glaze, certainly not chocolate ganache (which is essentially made of cream and dark chocolate). The Sacher torte is something else entirely; this is a poorly executed imitation made for quick-and-easy tourists.

04/10/2025: An experience to forget. A place with zero hygiene, zero professionalism, and zero respect for the customer. The staff is arrogant and completely unprepared: they don't even know the order to serve the tables. The plates and glasses are dirty and even chipped—a danger to anyone. The coffee, too, is unsightly and undrinkable, so much so that it gave me stomach problems for hours. A place that claims to be "the best in the area," but fails to even pass in any aspect. Not recommended in every way.

16/10/2025: It was the starting point for the waterfalls. We drank coffee there and set off. They also have some souvenirs and collectibles.

11/08/2025: The hotel rooms were clean and the beds and mattresses were fine, at least in our room. We checked this because of previous reviews that we found late. The room equipment has already shown the signs of time, but it is still cool and the hotel feels cozy. The breakfast was varied, there were quite a lot of food and drinks to choose from, but they were in smaller quantities, which were constantly replenished (when more people arrived at once, they had to wait). The biggest problem with the room overlooking the road was the noisy traffic (cars and trucks), which started driving in the main part before 5:00. The sound of the flowing river was suitable for sleeping for me, but it may not suit someone.

27/07/2025: I can only confirm all the negative reviews I've read (if only I'd seen them before...). I was greeted by a rather grumpy waiter who pretended to be friendly. When I asked if they made simple sandwiches, I was told they could bring me bread with sausage on the side. When I asked if it was possible to add some vegetables, I was treated rudely, as if I'd asked for something strange, but in reality, the waiter hadn't understood the question... so we're off to a bad start. When I repeated the question, I was offered potatoes with cheese and speck, so I changed my order to that, adding sauerkraut (again suggested by the waiter). The waiter was pressuring me for some reason, because there were probably only 15 people eating (and at least 3 waiters). But he was in such a hurry that I had to order without a menu with prices in front of me, and before I could even sit at the table! In the end, they made me pay an exorbitant amount in advance (€44). All because they also added sausage, an item I had later changed but they brought it anyway. The food itself wasn't bad, except for the sausage, which was tasteless and was probably already pre-packaged because it arrived less than 3 minutes after ordering. In short, sky-high prices for mediocre food and terrible service (I'd like to give more adjectives, but this isn't the right platform). There are plenty of other options that are definitely more honest, more friendly, and with better food. So I recommend choosing another one completely at random because it will definitely be better than this one. And I also see many comments from other customers that support my thesis; they're right.

28/10/2025: Unfortunately, the pizzas delivered were extremely greasy; the entire box was soaked in oil after eating. I can't quite figure out why. Delivery took an hour, but they told me that on the phone, so it was all good. The delivery person was very friendly.

07/09/2025: I ordered 3 burger menus. They said it would take 30-40 minutes to arrive. It took almost 2 hours. The burgers were cold, the fries cold and soggy. The burgers were also very small, and the fries weren't very many. €11 was relatively expensive, even with a drink included. This has happened to us a few times now. If there were alternative delivery services in Lana, they wouldn't be able to afford it.

22/10/2025: Zero stars, we were rudely asked to leave the table because we didn't want lunch. As for the food, based on our many years of experience with the bar, we can only agree with the 1-star review. At least the drinks are top-notch.

13/10/2025: They only greet you with a smile if you speak "German"... During our visit to this bar, my boyfriend and I ordered a coffee and a sparkling water, asking to consume it at the counter. However, we were rudely told that this wasn't possible and that we would have to sit outside. After drinking our coffee, I asked to use the restroom. The lady at the cash register gave me the keys but informed me that I would have to pay in cash because the card machine wasn't working. Having no cash, I tried to explain the situation, but the owner intervened rudely, snatching the keys from me and stating that if I didn't pay, I wouldn't be able to use the restroom. I reiterated that I had the money and that, in 2025, it would be appropriate to also allow payment by debit card and, above all, to be polite to customers. In the end, I was told that if I didn't pay, I would have to go to the public restrooms in the square. So after picking up my order, I paid, WITHOUT receiving a RECEIPT, and then I was able to use the bathroom, which was also dirty. In conclusion, I think it's essential to respect the rules and ensure customers can pay by debit card, especially in a city like Bolzano. Change jobs...
