14/10/2025: This morning I stopped at Bistro 184 for breakfast, drawn by the refined and tranquil atmosphere. I ordered a Nutella-filled croissant and a coffee, and I must say it was a great start to the day. The croissant was fresh, fragrant, with the Nutella just warm—a perfect combination of aroma and sweetness. The coffee was well-made, served with courtesy and a smile, which never hurts. I also liked the atmosphere: clean, bright, with discreet background music and well-spaced tables. The atmosphere is calm, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a place I would gladly return to for a quiet breakfast or to start the day with a bit of flavor and serenity.

30/07/2025: Super! I like the way the staff or the owner treat us very best. Not like other typical italian staff. The atmosphere also so cute! Sitting outside and enjoying yourself far from city centre.

05/09/2025: Then again, everyone experiences the moment differently... I'm referring to some very negative comments. Mine is definitely positive. The place is very nice, precisely because it lacks the formality of "vacation" restaurants. It's natural, simple, and honest. It's true, they don't have menus with corresponding prices, and the dishes are limited, but if you like simple goodness, you certainly won't be disappointed by the price... trust me. I'll go back if I can 👍

20/08/2025: A wonderful place with a family-run restaurant on the farm: delicious little pork dishes and great beer from the neighboring farm (Noppbräu). Here you can also observe many animals, including donkeys, cows, pigs, dogs, and chickens.

15/12/2025: I'm giving it one star because it was quiet; there was only one other campervan with us. We paid €31.50 for two adults and a small campervan (€12 for the van + €7 per adult + €2 environmental tax + €1 per adult tourist tax). The car park area was on a slope, and you have to be resourceful to get your vehicle level. The receptionist attended to us in German, and after we told her we didn't speak much German and tried English, she kept switching between German and English (which wasn't really a problem, but rather showed a lack of willingness to communicate in another language). The restrooms are poorly maintained; there was no toilet paper or soap. The shower was acceptable, with hot water and good pressure. The bathrooms were full of spiders and dead insects, which is perfectly normal in this natural setting. What isn't normal is having dead insects lying around the bathroom that hadn't been picked up for a long time. The campsite is close to the motorway and train tracks; it's not excessively noisy, but you can hear some traffic. Access to the campsite is quite narrow—attention large caravans/campers! You have to go through a tunnel approximately 2 meters wide and 3 meters high. Overall, quite disappointing for the price.

28/10/2025: I am grateful that I was kicked out of the camp. When I registered, I wanted to register only 2 people and take one plot. So without a car. Because of this, I was kicked out of the camp.

15/12/2025: I just ordered a diavola pizza and was charged €13.50, only to find out that "they"—meaning "those from Alto Adige"—make it with peppers and olives. I called to clarify that I'm allergic to peppers and that I hadn't asked for this pizza, in fact. And I was told to remove the things I don't like and that they couldn't help me. Terrible.

10/08/2025: An impulse purchase, as I'm a pine essence lover. This cream is nothing more than sweetened condensed milk; the mountain pine essence is completely invisible, neither to the smell nor to the taste. The packaging lists the website dolomiti-shop.it, but there's no mention of the product on the website. I don't question the quality of other products in the shop, but one thing that's quite disconcerting is the very high prices for products that are certainly unique, but can be found anywhere else at a lower price.

09/03/2026: Friendly, very attentive service. Unfortunately, the Passion Spritz consisted mostly of ice, making it definitely too expensive. The focaccia was rock hard and was returned. A new focaccia was brought, which unfortunately was no different from the first. Only the rustic bread was delicious. A real shame.

07/01/2026: Too bad, given the location, perhaps a tourist trap. Very slow service and the quality of the cakes didn't quite live up to the usual high South Tyrolean standards. Maybe we were just unlucky? The staff, however, weren't unfriendly :-) (Note regarding the feedback: "plates licked clean": interesting phrasing. We even left some food and no one asked for it. Not all guests are looking for a confrontation. We simply want to be served relatively quickly in order of arrival and have a pleasant time. Perhaps you should hire anonymous restaurant testers. You could then discuss the results with them. Or you could summarize the results here and optimize your business. See it as an opportunity.

20/11/2025: I was fortunate enough to stay for two months at this hotel in the Aurina Valley, a place that captures the picturesque essence of South Tyrol and its Austrian roots. The Tyrolean furnishings, carved from wood, speak of time and tradition, creating an authentic and welcoming atmosphere. Barbara and her son Daniel were extraordinary hosts: kind, helpful, and attentive to every detail. Their professionalism and humanity made my stay not only pleasant but also reassuring, making me feel truly at home. Despite the official three stars, the experience here is worth much more: what matters is not the luxury, but the care, dedication, and human warmth that permeates every gesture. This hotel is a refuge where silence flourishes and the mountains speak, a place worthy of being chosen by those seeking authenticity and sincere hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Barbara and Daniel for making this stay special.

11/08/2025: The hotel rooms were clean and the beds and mattresses were fine, at least in our room. We checked this because of previous reviews that we found late. The room equipment has already shown the signs of time, but it is still cool and the hotel feels cozy. The breakfast was varied, there were quite a lot of food and drinks to choose from, but they were in smaller quantities, which were constantly replenished (when more people arrived at once, they had to wait). The biggest problem with the room overlooking the road was the noisy traffic (cars and trucks), which started driving in the main part before 5:00. The sound of the flowing river was suitable for sleeping for me, but it may not suit someone.

31/10/2025: The usual Mac but keep in mind that in those parts the services close early and it could be a lifesaver. Be careful because you can't see it from the street and it's inside a shopping centre.

31/01/2026: The man with the long white hair is really grumpy… you ask him for information and he doesn't even answer, and if he does, he does it with a huff. The black guy, on the other hand, is really kind and polite. I wouldn't recommend the first one, but I recommend the last one.

25/01/2026: Terrible, everything out of the ordinary, disgusting service!

01/09/2025: Unfortunately, the schnitzel was mushy and smelled of old grease. My comment about this was met with a "I'll tell the chef." The Schlutzkrapfen (shrimp doughnuts) were okay. The pasta dish was very greasy.

25/08/2025: I had extremely positive memories of this ice cream parlor from my numerous visits to Bolzano over the years, but today's visit was disappointing. Has the owner or ice cream maker changed? Not good Italian ice cream, the taste is artificial: the banana ice cream tastes like Müllermilch banana, and the Fior latte is very sweet. The service was unfriendly and seemed annoyed. I wouldn't recommend it!

07/08/2025: Disappointing visit despite promising location The tables outside were unkempt and visibly dirty – a shame, because the restaurant's location would actually be ideal. The waitress didn't even acknowledge us at first, and it felt like an eternity before our order was taken. We weren't offered an ice cream menu, and since we'd apparently been forgotten, we jokingly asked if the ice cream had to be freshly made and the fruit picked. At least the sundae finally arrived – and it tasted good and was fairly priced. When paying inside, we had to wait again because the two waitresses preferred to have a lively conversation with a gentleman. The waiter had to ask them twice to hand over the card reader. Given the small number of guests, I seriously wonder how this restaurant can survive. In Bolzano, negligence is rarely tolerated for long. Visita deludente nonostante la posizione prometettente I always have an erano trascurati and visible sporchi – a vero peccato, perché the position of the locale sarebbe davvero ideal. The initial personal note does not have to be notated, but it is always interminable and is already in place. Not this is the current offer of a menu of gelati, and you can see that these two dimensions are different, but you can also prepare the gelato and cut the fruit. Almeno: the cup of gelato is finally arriving – and the era is good, a prezzo oneto. At the moment of the pagamento with carta all'interno, abbiamo dovuto aspettare di nuovo, poiché the due camera erano impegnati in an animated conversation with a signore. The camera has to be connected due to the voltage of the terminal pos per il pagamento. See the number of the client, my name sincerely comes from the local area of the genere. A Bolzano, the trascuratezza non viene perdonata facilmente.

29/12/2025: Very good and beautifully plated food, but it's a shame the portions are very small (two strips of pumpkin lasagna for €15.50). Bread isn't served unless you ask for it (not even for those who only eat salad). A 1L bottle of water is €5. They don't charge a cover charge. Service is generally unfriendly.

20/12/2025: Nothing special, normal food, I ordered dumplings with goulash, the latter not very tender and the dumplings had an industrial taste, for two dishes and an ice cream with raspberries I paid 71 euros... a bit too much for the quality and quantity. I do not recommend.
