04/01/2026: Nice place, room a bit noisy; everything creaks when you walk. Location with a beautiful view, of course, a nice uphill road to get there, right behind Dobbiaco. Service is unsatisfactory, perhaps because it's just a husband and wife team doing everything, and the lack of at least one additional person is noticeable. Breakfast is not very varied. Dinner is too simple; in 20 years of frequenting this area, I've never had a typical local dish in five nights without eating it. It's all in random order: chicken with fries, cutlets, pasta with tomato sauce, Roman-style salti in bocca, etc. All on a budget, without ever serving fruit after the meal. Empathy is zero; it's the only place I wouldn't return to. The final highlight was that they didn't round up the bill by 0.30 cents, but added that to the bill as well.

02/10/2025: We and our family of five received a warm welcome. A fantastic view and everything you need, from loungers to the farm animals, there's something for everyone. Thank you so much, dear Brigitte, for the wonderful time and your hospitality. We would love to come back.

02/12/2025: There were four of us at the Gschlössler for Törggelen (a traditional South Tyrolean autumn feast). The evening started very well but then deteriorated rapidly. We were served an excellent barley and pumpkin soup, and the service was still friendly. The second course was overcooked Schlutzkrapfen (a type of filled pasta), and I can't say anything good about the uninspired Schlachtplatte (a mixed meat platter) served on aluminum foil trays. When we asked for the chestnuts, which are usually part of Törggelen, we only received a dismissive "no chestnuts today." Only the house wine was worth mentioning. The owner, who was in a terrible mood, in fact, was in a very bad mood, which ultimately ruined the evening for us. Conclusion: I cannot recommend it.

21/11/2025: I've been twice, for dinner and lunch with the Törggelen menu. Everything was very good, the atmosphere was traditional. It's a shame they didn't serve chestnuts at lunch. But I recommend it.

17/10/2025: Highly recommended, friendly service, very extensive drinks menu, excellent sacks, centrally located, always worth a visit.

27/01/2026: The place is small, but you can always find a table. The pizzas are very good, and the price is fair, not excessive like many pizzerias these days. You pay a cover charge, but at least the napkins are nice and sturdy.

23/01/2026: I had an excellent tuna pizza. The service was very friendly, and I noticed only a few tables, unless they had another room that I didn't see. The lady at the counter where you pay was very friendly and kind. The pizza arrived quickly, and the prices were fair, as they should be.

21/01/2026: The ambiance could be better, but no matter, the pizzas are incredibly creative, alla Napoli. The restaurant is in a prime location in the heart of Bolzano. The staff is always friendly and very attentive.

19/01/2026: Delicious pizza and excellent service! Unfortunately, there were some issues with meal vouchers (blubepay doesn't work).

27/08/2025: Their food is delicious and halal and worth trying. I had chicken shawarma and potatoes and tried vegetable pizza. It was all delicious.

14/07/2025: We accidentally stumbled upon this place while going to our hotel late. This was one of the few places open later in the evening. The staff was friendly and helpful and catered to my vegetarian friend. We had kebabs and burgers and they were decent for the price.

08/12/2025: This place is near our hotel. We wanted to try the local dishes, and I can say they were very good. It seemed family-run. If you're passing through, give it a try, it's worth it! 😉

27/10/2025: The food is a bit more expensive than some other restaurants in town. Otherwise, the portions are very large, which is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, the taste isn't quite as good, but rather average. For this price, it's more about quantity than quality, but it was still okay. A street vendor came in who seemed to know the staff and was talking to them. He also tried to sell us something and was a bit pushy, which is completely unacceptable in a restaurant.

21/01/2026: This iconic Chinese restaurant has been in Bolzano for several years. The staff are discreet and friendly, and the interior is tastefully decorated, with the added bonus of enjoying the cuisine in a discreet outdoor garden from May to October. Located in the center of Bolzano, this restaurant is a great place to combine sightseeing with lunch or dinner. The menu is varied, and the restaurant's defining characteristic is the high quality of the dishes served, crafted to satisfy even the most discerning palate. In my opinion, it's one of the best restaurants in South Tyrol for both value and quality. I've been frequenting the restaurant for years, always satisfied with the quality of the dishes. For lovers of exotic restaurants, this is a must-visit.

27/12/2025: Breakfast: 1 macchiato coffee €1.70, and listen to this, 1 regular frozen wholemeal croissant €1.90. There's no sign of a price tag.

29/09/2025: We had breakfast here for two days and really enjoyed it. The staff is attentive, the prices are average, and their breakfast selection is varied, both sweet and savory. Recommended if you're in the area.

01/03/2026: A random and very positive experience. Unobtrusive, tiny, family restaurant. The interior is outdated, a bit Tyrolean in style, but I liked it. It was so homely, like somewhere at grandma's. The menu was basic, fewer items, the better the food preparation. 🥓🌶️🍳👍🏻 The lady serving was very nice and helpful, happy to advise on choosing a dish. The food was excellently prepared, with respect for the ingredients. It was a very pleasant surprise. 👍🏻 We will be happy to come back here. 🙂
