The moment you sit down, till the very last mouthful. I even learnt a new Italian phrase- just so I could say- “E stato fanastico! Grazie Mille!” Luca’s and his team are knocking out some brilliant food. If you can, get a table opposite the pass and watch the magic unfold!
11/04/2026: Amazing food (and lovely wine). The cooking is inventive and very delicious. The prices of both food and wine seem incredibly reasonable for what you get - we had a lovely bottle of rose that was 32€.

26/02/2026: Absolutely amazing. My husband and I toured this winery on our honeymoon and it was so good that we literally imported wine and olive oil back to the states the second we got home. 17/03/2026: I didn't think there was such a high-quality gelato shop in the Prato-Calenzano area.
I had a tasting of 9 cups... a delight for the palate.
And a remarkable quality/price ratio.
And if Mr. Calogero explains his philosophy on artisanal gelato to you... you'll never want to leave.
Allow me just one marketing tip: with such a high-quality product, a less simple setting would be a good fit.

20/03/2026: Recommended to us by staff at a local winery, we first appreciated the approach, which is summed up in the menu's introduction (see photo). Everything was good, with the artichoke steamed in apple cider vinegar being exceptional (according to those who ate it). We appreciated the value for money. Recommended.

29/03/2026: I happily agree with all the positive reviews. We found the atmosphere truly pleasant, with friendly and helpful staff. The menu is varied, offering both meat and fish, as well as daily specials. We tried the tagliolini with truffles, followed by a beef tagliata and a Milanese cutlet, with side dishes. Everything was truly delicious.
I'd also like to point out the excellent value for money.
We booked in advance to secure a table for Saturday evening!

11/04/2026: For me the best Pizza in Cecina. I am sure that you can't found a better one. The cashier was so friendly and spoke good English. I don't have any photos because it was so delicious and i just ate it :). The prices were ideal for a pizza.
