14/08/2026: A wonderful place; we dined outside under the characteristic lemon grove and managed to escape the heat for just a quick dinner. We ate seafood dishes, and they were truly exquisite and delicious. We'll definitely be back to try the other dishes we missed this time. Service included a variety of homemade breads, a welcome appetizer, and small homemade pastries. A pleasant treat. Book early or keep your dates flexible if you can.

18/05/2026: As a Lunigiana native who "emigranted" to La Spezia, I can say that this place, resurrected from the past, really impressed me. This is the Lunigiana I'd like to see more often, ancient and modern at the same time. Traditional cuisine is respected and reinterpreted with some good, innovative ideas that I really liked. The platter is delicious, with lots of tastings and good-quality meat. Special praise for the service, with very kind and attentive young people, always with a smile! I also found the prices lower than expected, so everything was perfect 👍👍

17/05/2026: Lunch immersed in nature with a welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service Today I went to Montagna Verde with friends and we had a pleasant day. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff very kind, friendly, and sociable, qualities that made lunch even more enjoyable. The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes are thoughtful and flavorful. The portions may not be particularly generous, but the quality is evident. I had the truffle pasta: delicious and well-prepared, with a delicate and pleasant flavor. The desserts were very good, but the real highlight for me was the honey ice cream: simply AMAZING. The price of lunch was fair for the type of experience offered, although we probably initially expected to spend a little less. Winning 4 Ristoranti has certainly brought a lot of customers and notoriety to the restaurant, so I recommend booking well in advance (we booked about a month in advance). Consequently, the prices are now in line with demand and the experience offered. The only negative was the presence of many flies, which was understandable given the location surrounded by nature and therefore not directly the fault of the restaurant. However, at times it was quite annoying, so I would recommend finding a solution to make the experience even more pleasant. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, ideal for those looking for a quiet place to eat well and spend time with friends.

14/08/2026: I've always gotten pizza here; growing up in Aulla, it's always been a go-to place for me and my friends. Living far away, I always order as soon as I get home and have the option. However, I was treated terribly by the girl who answers the phone (obviously not Oti). I think she needs to be a little more careful, as I would have felt like not showing up to pick up my order.

11/08/2026: Pizzeria da Natale has been our regular stop every time we go to the beach! The welcome is second to none: as soon as they saw our van arrive, they set the table for us right away with rare kindness and attention. The pizza is among the best ever, with an exceptional, light, and tasty dough, and the farinata is simply delicious. Highly recommended!

01/08/2026: Simply perfect, even the coffee was noteworthy, something that's no longer a given in bars, let alone restaurants. I really don't know what to say. I can only recommend it to anyone in the area.

30/07/2026: Not for families with young children. We visited as a family with our 2.5-year-old son, and unfortunately the experience was marred by one staff member’s attitude. The gentleman who welcomed us was warm and professional, which made the contrast even sharper. Shortly after being seated, our son picked up a wine glass, and a waitress came over abruptly and said “give me that” in a tone that felt sharp and dismissive rather than concerned. She later returned to remove a plate as well, again with the same brusque manner. When my husband asked if she’d meant anything negative toward our son, she became defensive and claimed she was only worried about his safety — but the tone from the start didn’t match that explanation. I understand safety around glassware matters, especially with young children, but there are respectful ways to communicate that don’t leave a parent feeling judged or unwelcome. The disconnect between the front-of-house welcome and this particular interaction was disappointing, especially at a restaurant of this caliber. I’d encourage the management to look into how staff are trained to communicate with families with young children — a simple, kind tone would have completely changed the experience for us.

08/08/2026: Our friends brought us here, and it turned out to be an absolutely amazing experience. Everything was delicious, but the lamb pasta was truly incredible — one of the best dishes we’ve had. A special mention goes to the vitello tonnato and the steaks — absolutely outstanding! The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, and we especially want to mention Anna, our wonderful waitress. We would like to give her a special thank you for making our evening so enjoyable. Her kindness and attention made the whole experience even more special. We will definitely be happy to come back! ❤️

24/07/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. We've been coming to Tuscany for vacations for many years, and this was the first time we've had such a negative experience. The service was cold and unfriendly, and we felt like, being tourists, we weren't treated with the same attention as other customers. It was truly unpleasant. Furthermore, the Spritz served was very small for the price. Between the unwelcoming service and the disappointing value for money, we left with a very negative impression. It's a real shame, because we love this region and return every year, but after this experience, we have no intention of returning to this place.

24/02/2026: In the center of Colonnata, there's this quiet, simple place. The food is excellent...the mixed cold cuts and the fantastic sgabei. The owner is very nice and kind. Great price. I recommend it if you're in the area.

04/07/2026: A small, family-run restaurant where everything is excellent, from the food to the service, to the friendliness of the owners. Truly wonderful people. They were very kind and welcoming to me, my partner, and our 9-month-old daughter (they have a high chair suitable for sitting and a bathroom with an excellent changing station). I really hope to be able to return.
