We were drawn in by the beautiful atmosphere inside, which was visible from the outside. Inside, it was stunning, with a herringbone tiled ceiling. It was pleasantly cool. We were served delicious fresh bread with our meal. The wines were good and relatively affordable. Not to mention the local gin for the gin tonic. Hospitality is top-notch. They didn't have any change, so they rounded the bill down. I absolutely recommend this restaurant for its extensive wine list, air conditioning, very good food, and hospitality!

The atmosphere is refined and pleasant, with attentive and friendly service.
However, we had significantly higher expectations for the food, especially given the positive reviews. In particular, we ordered the "Pecorino di Pienza" platter (€21), but were disappointed: in addition to being rather limited in quantity, it also included Taleggio cheese, which we find unacceptable given that the menu clearly stated it was a platter of pecorino cheese only. It would be appropriate for the description to accurately reflect what is actually served.

Wonderful meal… in a beautiful little town setting. Pasta was so delicious and meat was flavorful. Kind people and clean beautiful bistro. Truffle was so subtle and yummy… blended so wonderfully with the wine. Amazing wine selection from Italy and surrounding areas and beyond.

The food was a bit disappointing. The ragù for the pici was reheated, and the chicken was too. A shame. Otherwise, the atmosphere was elegant and the wait staff were friendly.

Best restaurant of the holiday, excellent value for money. The Orcia DOC wine was delicious, the olive oil excellent, all the dishes were plentiful and had a strong, balanced flavor, obviously well prepared and presented. Excellent service, very friendly. A truly pleasant experience and one to repeat. Money well spent, at other restaurants for the same price we got a quarter of the overall quality. More than satisfied.
