The service is really kind, smiling and friendly. The dishes are wonderful! Excellent raw material! Every bite is a journey of sensations that lead to the discovery of what is true authentic Japanese cuisine. Absolutely not to be missed for lovers of this culture and otherwise! We will definitely be back!

05/06/2024: Truly an escape from the busy streets (I recommend sitting outside. It's lovely). The food is so yummy and the prices are fair. The staff is also really nice. If you customize your pokebowl, sushi burrito or order sushi, you can fill out a form, You can select your choice/ingredients and then give it to the staff. A perfect system if you ask me. They also have both Italian and English menus! I recommend

05/06/2024: Good fresh sushi in Florence, highly recommended! We sat outside in the backyard, nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. You can complete an order list for sushi burito, poke bowl or sushi and hand it in at the cash register. You will be given a beeper and as soon as your order is ready, it will ring and you can pick up your food at a counter. Friendly, helpful service, speaks good English. Delicious pickled ginger. It was so good that we had another sushi burito. Just a 10-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station. As said, highly recommended!

08/06/2024: Drove about 25 min from our place to try Japanese food, as we were having a bit too much Italian. Awesome people, authentic Japanese restaurant. Even has Japanese chef/staff. Roadside parking is available for free in the evening. Check the machine before you pay.

04/06/2024: Is it because I had too high expectations of a friendly and clean restaurant? The taste wasn't outstanding. The onigiri and curry were so-so. The price is cheap!!

14/06/2024: As soon as you cross the threshold of "Moi Omakase", you enter another world. You remain tenuously connected to reality when some curious passerby stops too long to peek at you from the outside. Time ceases to exist in a general sense: there is only a "punctual" time, specific to the restaurant, marked by the soft chatter of traveling companions and the precise and ritual gestures of the chef. Each dish is a story, with a beginning, a middle and an ending, because each bite has an initial flavour, a bouquet of flavors as you chew and a peculiar final note. I tasted Hokkaido oysters for the first time, tender and tasty in a surprising way, very different when consumed alone or with their sauce, and I loved the various soups, with incredible flavors even though they were made with "simple" ingredients... But you undoubtedly have to be a magician to mix these simple things to obtain such a complex explosion for the taste buds! I then ate an octopus cooked so perfectly that I will hardly forget it, and some nigiri to be discovered, among which I cannot fail to mention sea bass and otoro, which I am fond of, but those prepared by Francesco, some also with fish smoked by him, are truly incredible. This is definitely an experience worth trying. To drink, in addition to water, I didn't think about making who knows what combinations, but I simply chose a sake that represented me among the many available: therefore a sake with a hint of green apple and slightly bitter on the finish, because I like drinks that tend to bitters and things like grapefruit juice. The sake was delicious and surprisingly smelled like fresh apple, not cooked apple, which is different for my taste (I like it when it feels like biting into a freshly picked apple). It's fun to gradually discover a new dish, all accompanied by the chef's interesting explanation and enlivened by the relaxed chatter with those present. Even the girl who assisted Francesco is truly an exquisite person. The environment is spacious and extremely comfortable: a joy for the sight as well as for the palate, because the furnishings are really well-chosen, in the colours, materials and lighting. I repeat: absolutely worth trying.

24/05/2024: An experience definitely worth doing at least once! Excellent quality food, explained in detail by Francesco with some gems on how some dishes should be eaten, how they are prepared... really very good and interesting. Price not cheap, but you will leave satisfied!

11/03/2024: cibo anche buono ma abbiamo aspettato tra una portata e l’altra quadi 20 minuti entrando alle 20.30 e uscendo alle 23 , senza aver mangiato ciò che avevamo ordinato, non essendo arrivato. una ragazza di sala in particolare, molto scortese ha preso il primo piatto trovato sul bancone e ce lo ha dato spacciandolo per nostro dato che ci eravam lamentati, ma quel piatto non era nostro , infine ci siamo alzati con la fame , spendendo 26.80 vi siamo lamentati per la cena pessima e ci hanno fatto uno sconto di 30 centesimi( sembrava fatto come contentino) mi dispiace ma non ci torneremo

20/06/2024: Very good all-you-can-eat restaurant, value for money in line with other restaurants offering the same commercial offer, perhaps slightly lower. Quick and friendly staff and service. The only flaw is that you update the menu that you download to avoid unpleasant situations of justifications for both you and the customer. For the rest ok.

28/06/2024: Emilio and Miyako are exceptional, here you can eat real Japanese food made by a Japanese chef. I recommend the cold Soba (Zaru Soba) Excellent wine and sake list.

24/06/2024: I am forced to update the review because unfortunately the experience was negative. Waiting times of 1 hour for a platter of appetizers, with the restaurant empty (there were 10 of us seated in the entire restaurant). Extremely small portions, almost like a tasting, no joke. Good wine and friendly service, but precisely: the arrival of the dishes was extremely slow. For the amount spent it is truly unacceptable: an average of 18 euros per dish. I say, if you make a bowl of rice with eel, at least put a lot of rice. But no, it must have been 80 grams of rice to say the least. For a 19 euro dish it seems a bit low to me. We won't be going back and I will not recommend it.

27/06/2024: Very small Japanese restaurant in the village of Pontassieve which has just 16 seats and a chef and a waiter. The fact that it has a very limited clientele is actually a strong point, as it allows you to always have a quiet and reserved environment, fairly fast service (not very attentive in the delivery of dishes) but above all fresh fish, which you can taste ( the prawns are spectacular). The menu is not very extensive and mainly revolves around cold dishes (also because they don't have a real kitchen), but the ravioli, large and tasty, are certainly worth trying too. The sensation is therefore that of practically entering their home and eating something artisanal and not mass-produced like in a large all-you-can-eat restaurant. Even though it was born as an à la carte restaurant, for some time it has offered the all you can eat formula for lunch at €17.50 (cover charge included) to which perhaps add €1 of half a liter of water. Ultimately a nice, welcoming and intimate restaurant where you can eat a few things done well. The advice is to enhance their strong points, then review the interior more faithful to a traditional Japanese kiosk and implement some hot dishes: it would then be interesting to create a student menu, perhaps for takeaway.
