27/02/2026: A truly wonderful experience! The Candlelight event at the theater was beautifully organized: the candlelit atmosphere was magical, intimate, and very evocative. The theater is elegant and welcoming, with perfect acoustics that showcased the musicians' skill. It was a special evening, relaxing, and at the same time moving. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience something different.

25/03/2026: My girlfriend and I had two lunches in a row and were completely satisfied with everything, from the staff to the food. Everything was delicious, with a special mention for the melted pecorino cheese, walnuts, and honey.

19/04/2026: We stayed two nights at the Villa Ambra Hotel, adjacent to the restaurant. We dined on Saturday evening, April 18th, and were very lucky to find a table. The restaurant was completely full, but this in no way affected the excellent quality of the food and service. We had an appetizer, two first courses (one of which was made with the day's specialty), a fried fish dish, and a dessert; these courses were accompanied by a glass of local white wine and a bottle of water. The service was precise and attentive, the food excellent, and the fish was very fresh. The dinner cost €80, or €40 per person; I'd say it was more than fair. A special mention goes to the first course of the day: homemade pici with mussel and bottarga carbonara, served with lemon zest. Highly recommended!

09/04/2026: I ate here a few months ago, but I enjoyed it so much that I thought it was only right to give it a shoutout. The location is a proper restaurant, truly beautiful, and the quality of the food isn't my cup of tea. The waiters were extremely friendly. NB: Since it was a quiet evening, they even offered us a couple of freebies and a discount on the total, a truly rare gesture these days, so much appreciated.

We're regulars, and when we pass through Florence, it's our only stop, as it's the last bastion of Florentine cuisine and a place to enjoy a quiet dinner, laughing with the owner and experimenting with flavors. The owner is a delightful gentleman, friendly, smiling, welcoming, and a true Florentine. He explains the dishes with love and always has the right advice. The dishes are limited; don't expect a 200-course menu, but in my opinion, A place that offers "little choice" is because it knows what it's doing and knows what it's preparing for you, and trust me, it knows what it's doing. If you're passing through Florence, in my opinion, it's a must-see. Highly recommended

31/03/2026: Awesome gelato at an honest man’s store. We all enjoyed our gelato, including the pistachio, the biscotto, the peanut, and chocolate. The owner/worker accidentally overcharged me without me realizing the billing error. He then refunded the overcharge despite my lack of knowledge about the overcharge on my credit card. This type of honesty is rare and it impressed me greatly. On top of this business honesty, the gelato competes with the best I have ever had. Get the pistachio or the biscotto.

02/04/2026: A truly authentic Italian neighborhood pizzeria. A regular clientele from the city. A young man who was having dinner with a friend recommended it to us. The pizzas are exquisite. The service is very good and fast. There's a very friendly Colombian waiter. If we return to Siena, we'll definitely go back.

09/04/2026: We happened upon this restaurant due to its location near our apartment, but quickly found ourselves going back again and again! The food was excellent- we tried the risotto, the ravioli, the steak with pepper sauce, pasta with pork, at least two appetizers and four desserts, and they were all wonderful- and the service really capped off the dining experience. Our server, Salvatore, made it his mission to not only provide us with exceptional service, but to also bring an element of humor and friendship that had us laughing and coming back for more. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough as part of your adventures in Firenze!

09/04/2026: For my first evening in Florence, I had a perfect meal at a place I stumbled upon by chance, thanks to Mr. Salvitore. Both the steak and the sauce were incredibly delicious!! It was such a memorable dinner that I think I’ll be craving the octopus dish as well!
