We're regulars, and for this very reason, we're accustomed to always feeling satisfied and rewarded with our choices. In the new location, however, we were even more impressed: in addition to the great attention to detail, we sensed a different energy, an explosion of imagination and enthusiasm that is clearly reflected in the dishes. The chef manages to transform every dish into an experience, with creative preparations and surprising combinations, without ever compromising balance and flavor. It's an evolution we've greatly appreciated and that makes every return a pleasant discovery.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the world. Ive been twice now, and the owner remembered us a year apart. The food is to die for, the people are so kind and hospitable, and its a comfortable, beautiful spot. Loved EVERYTHING about it.

Years ago, I discovered this restaurant, which now has a new location with spacious and elegant spaces. It always stands out for its refined and original dishes. Seafood Bavarian cream, medallions, pasta with sea urchins, scallops on leaf-shaped pastry. Delicious, award-winning desserts, an excellent wine list, and the use of traditional, high-quality products in the dishes. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in the Argentario. The owners are kind and knowledgeable, and always available to satisfy their guests.

When the expression "mi casa es tu casa" doesn't materialize: the "manager" ignored me for the entire dinner, obviously noticing me "kindly" when it came to the bill (for the rest of the evening, she was rather noisily counting it with a group of her friends).

Ristorante Villa Ambra l'Oste Dispensa

19/04/2026: We stayed two nights at the Villa Ambra Hotel, adjacent to the restaurant. We dined on Saturday evening, April 18th, and were very lucky to find a table. The restaurant was completely full, but this in no way affected the excellent quality of the food and service. We had an appetizer, two first courses (one of which was made with the day's specialty), a fried fish dish, and a dessert; these courses were accompanied by a glass of local white wine and a bottle of water. The service was precise and attentive, the food excellent, and the fish was very fresh. The dinner cost €80, or €40 per person; I'd say it was more than fair. A special mention goes to the first course of the day: homemade pici with mussel and bottarga carbonara, served with lemon zest. Highly recommended!

30/04/2026: Great food, great location, fantastic team – by far the best restaurant and pizzeria in the area, in my opinion. Reservations are definitely recommended, even in the off-season.
05/04/2026: We went for Easter. We ate in the garden, the service was excellent, everything was good, and the staff were attentive to everything. The price was right for what we ate. We'll definitely be back... well done!
