07/08/2025: There's nothing like Ruggero. The owners, staff, and food are above average. Only Florentines come to these places, and foreigners are the only ones who have received this pearl of information. The cured meats and livers are top-notch, the carrettiera, pasta with truffles or mushrooms when in season, roast beef or pigeon above the rest. The pork loin is the best piece of meat cooked in the world. If you don't stop by, it's like you've never been to Florence.

03/08/2025: Walked 30 minutes from the city center only to find the place closed, despite it showing as open on the map. Please update your hours!

27/07/2025: The best Schiacciata I've ever had, even better than Antico Vinaio, and significantly cheaper. Will definitely come back!

25/07/2025: Served quickly and the food is served just as quickly. Also very good and they had a "pintaza". We ordered a Marinara, a Margherita and a Schiacciata, all three very good.

29/07/2025: La Veranda è stata un'autentica sorpresa... la vera pizza Napoletana a pochi minuti dal centro di Siena. Tutto lo staff è risultato organizzatissimo, veloce, preciso e gentile. Pizza buonissima alla Napoletana con ingredienti di alta qualità; ottima la "Marinara Evoluta". Apprezzatissima la Veranda che da una bellissima visione sul territorio circostante. Ottimo il conto. Ci torneremo!!

27/06/2025: This is a fabulous resturant near the city city but down a little side street. There is inside and outside seating. The staff are very friendly. Service is quick and the food is amazing. Definitely try this place if in Siena. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food and service.

31/07/2025: My boyfriend and I had lunch at this amazing restaurant and were truly impressed. My tagliolini with truffles were phenomenal: creamy, fragrant, and full of flavor. A true delight. My boyfriend, who doesn't normally like pasta, ordered the duck reginette... and was so moved by how good they were. So much so, he ordered a second course. You can clearly taste the love for tradition, and it's truly wonderful to rediscover it like this, in such an authentic and refined way. The entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and very pleasant to listen to and chat with. For all the emotion it gave us, the bill even seemed modest. Paying was nice because it felt like a way to say thank you. We left a little piece of our heart there and will definitely return when we're in Tuscany again. A truly wonderful experience.

13/07/2025: It's truly a beautiful place, strategically located for visiting the Apuan Alps, very close to Equi Terme. The cuisine is truly excellent. The farm's and local products are expertly prepared, a wonderful blend of tradition, good, healthy, and beautifully presented food. The owners are very welcoming.

05/07/2025: A very nice agriturismo with truly excellent food, almost all homemade by a very friendly owner. The pool is very clean, and there's a large lawn with plenty of shade and beach chairs. Very quiet location, with two nearby villages worth strolling through. If you want to enjoy a relaxing holiday and value culinary delights, you shouldn't miss this place.

13/07/2025: An excellent, uncompromising osteria. The host is a unique character. The menu is simple, consisting of many small dishes, a great way to sample all the typical local products. Pasta isn't an option, but you won't miss it. Definitely worth a try!

24/05/2025: The menu (also in English) is quite varied. The prices are okay, not very expensive. The food is good. We ate steak, pasta, salad and fries. The homemade tiramisu is of great class. The restaurant is somewhat tucked away and is not very cozy on the inside, but is definitely worth a visit.

13/07/2025: Since 2012, I've been there six or seven times for lunch and dinner. It's a truly special place for me; I bless the day, way back in 2012, when this trattoria was recommended to me. I live 400 km away, and every time I pass through Tuscany for one reason or another, I find an excuse to pop in. The food is excellent, the recipes delicious, but the meat is the real highlight! The steak at Marino's is, as they say, worth the price of admission. A final mention goes to the homemade fragolino. Amazing. I'll continue to go there whenever I can.
