15/03/2026: I visited Il Carrettino 100% Gluten Free in Grosseto, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is a true reference point for those seeking completely gluten-free cuisine, yet also capable of satisfying those with no intolerances.
The atmosphere is welcoming and intimate, perfect for a dinner with friends or family. The staff is very friendly and attentive to their guests' needs.
I'll definitely be back!!!
15/03/2026: Everything was excellent! We ordered two appetizers and two first courses and were satisfied with everything. The menu is very convenient, divided into vegan, vegetarian, meat, and seafood options. The staff was kind and attentive.

23/03/2026: Excellent! The tasting menu for 30 Euro was of great quality, cooking skills and presentation! We thought that the 9 courses might be very small portions, but that's not the case! The value for money is so good that it almost feels unfair (for the restaurant!!). I truly think the price should be increased to 38 Euros and would still be a great deal. I know many restaurants that would easily ask 50+ Euros for such a menu. Restaurant offers also a warm athmosphere, nice interior/decorations and friendly staff. A real Lucca highlight and we look forward to visit again.
17/02/2026: We've eaten here several times a year for the past 10 years and have never been disappointed—quite the opposite. So, we confidently took our Dutch friends, who were visiting for a week, to this restaurant with a Sicilian touch. A must-try for antipasti: La selezione dello Chef. It was another hit, and our friends thoroughly enjoyed it. We especially enjoyed the wines recommended by our boss, Carlo. A fantastic evening! Compliments to Carlo and his staff! The price I quoted includes delicious wines.

21/09/2025: A beautiful location with tables overlooking the sea. The catch of the day is truly fantastic... the first courses are a little less so, but still good. Prices are quite high.
