13/04/2026: Dinner with friends at our farmhouse restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cuisine: traditional dishes, well-executed. I really appreciated that the second courses included and paired with a side dish. The duck breast with sweet and sour sauce and purple cabbage was a huge hit, with crispy skin and tender meat.

14/05/2026: We had a wonderful lunch at La Vetreria in Florence. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. The meat dishes were especially delicious and perfectly prepared. We also really appreciated the excellent selection of regional wines, which complemented the food beautifully. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience authentic Tuscan cuisine in a lovely setting!

14/05/2026: I'm a wine novice, but I went there just for wine after dinner! I was so impressed by the wonderful space for enjoying wine and the fantastic professional sommelier! They explained the characteristics and details of each wine! And the prices were reasonable for the wine!!! I'm so glad I came here! I was able to enjoy the best of both Candy Classico and Barolo! I should have come here from the beginning!

04/05/2026: Stumbled into this family restaurant entirely by accident. I was looking for squid ink pasta and GMaps directed me here and was disappointed that they don't have it (anymore?). Since it's quite a walk from the main road, we decided to stay and just eat there. First off, they're a small family owned restaurant. We arrived at 12, when the restaurant opens, and the owners were eating. They were done shortly after but this is what I was hoping for: small family owned restaurant with home cooking away from tourist traps. We ordered the tripe (trippa), chicken (pollo alla contadina), and the tagliatelle pesto with pistacchio and pomodorini. Every dish was fantastic. Do yourself a favor and walk the extra 5-10 minutes to and fro from the main square and try this restaurant out. You won't be disappointed and the family there that runs it are so sweet.

13/06/2026: Best bakery we've found after trying several during our 5-day stay. There's a wide selection of delicious sweet and savory treats, the coffee is also very good, and as a bonus, there's a large and pleasant seating area. Prices are lower than just a few meters away in the city center. The staff is lovely! I highly recommend it!!

31/05/2026: The place is absolutely characteristic, it is worth even just seeing it, then Mr. Marco and his wife are fantastic people, welcoming, friendly, and always very helpful, dinner is a fixed menu "Quel che c'è c'e", everything excellent and quality, thank you Marco, it was a great pleasure to be your guests!!!!!

08/04/2026: We had a great lunch here! Food was incredible, great wine selection, excellent service and a amazing atmosphere. We also had our two month old with us and the staff was very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend. We ordered the timballo rustico, pici ragù, and lamb with the side of the day (seasonal asparagus).

17/04/2026: What a sublime evening. From The moment you sit down, till the very last mouthful. I even learnt a new Italian phrase- just so I could say- “E stato fanastico! Grazie Mille!” Luca’s and his team are knocking out some brilliant food. If you can, get a table opposite the pass and watch the magic unfold!

11/04/2026: Amazing food (and lovely wine). The cooking is inventive and very delicious. The prices of both food and wine seem incredibly reasonable for what you get - we had a lovely bottle of rose that was 32€.
