We were completely delighted with the evening in this cozy restaurant!
✨ Beef tartare is simply perfect: fresh, tender, with an impeccable balance of spices.
✨ Duck foie gras is a real pleasure, it literally melts in your mouth!
✨ Florentine steak - conquered with its juiciness and rich taste, and fresh greens perfectly shaded it.
A glass of cold Prosecco and potato soup was a great start as a compliment.
Fragrant **homemade bread** with a crispy crust accompanied the meal with olive oil.
At the end we served a glass of ice-cold limoncello and cookies.
Very nice! And everything is very tasty! And the musical accompaniment added a touch of romance to our evening!
Special thanks to the attentive waitress and hospitable owner - the service is at the highest level!
The atmosphere, cuisine and service are all A+. We'll definitely be back! 5/5🌟
03/05/2025: While there are some restaurants that are cold to Asians, this one was very kind and even though I was unfamiliar with English, they served me with a smile.
I ordered three courses, all of which were delicious and not too salty, with flavors that would suit Japanese palates well.
It's close to the station, so we definitely recommend this restaurant!

13/04/2025: Un accueil impeccable, on nous a offert un verre de proseco à notre arrivée et un de limoncello en partant.
Nourriture délicieuse. Nous avions pris les raviolis au citron (un délice) , tagliata de bœuf et pâtes à la viande (sublimes)
Petit plus pour les parents : table à langer + chaise haute disponible
Attention par contre : réservation obligatoire.

15/05/2025: I have known Silvia, Johnny, Filippo and Lorenzo since they had the other restaurant and I have followed them because going out to eat is not just a matter of leisure or convenience because you don't feel like cooking or because we are passing through the area: I leave from Livorno on purpose, for example. The open kitchen was a strong point in the other restaurant too and they have kept it as a winning idea. The environment is intimate, logically very clean, and everything chosen as furniture or furnishings is not there by chance: this thing allows you to get to know Silvia in a subliminal way more than anything else. Johnny is a very ambitious man and therefore always tries to outdo himself and proposes things only when the level of the final result is at its maximum, this refers to the dish and its presentation. When he comes out of the kitchen and comes to ask you if everything went well, he doesn't do it to be celebrated but only because I am pleased to have satisfied the customer's needs. Filippo is very capable in the service and is constantly evolving both for the topic of wines and for meats: apart from the sommelier courses he often goes around to other restaurants just to understand what not to offer in his. Lorenzo in the kitchen with his dad is learning I go out I take the various cooking methods, some invented by Johnny himself.
It's all delicious but I'll tell you how I reasoned the first time I arrived there: "If you put ragù on the menu of a restaurant you have to do it better than I do it." In fact I prefer that.
My vote is 10 on everything.

02/05/2025: Volpaia is well worth a visit, and this bar is a mandatory stop. So much so that we returned to it after having a beer first and then visiting Radda in Chianti. The dishes are delicious, the owner has a strong character, but 100% friendly and treats you wonderfully. Wine is not my strong point, but it wasn't bad at all. It is evident that they work with local and good quality products. Excellent tasting pasta and desserts. 100% recommended.

13/04/2025: First experience of this Osteria and we appreciated the complimentary sparkling wine and vegetable flan offered to us while waiting for the dishes. We opted for an appetizer and a second course with side dish; for the wine the preference was for a local producer from Guardistallo, despite the numerous wineries present in the vicinity such as Bolgheri, Casale Marittimo, Montescudaio which are better known, the curiosity was to taste a "remarkable blend" of well-known wines (for the Sangiovese in the "Chianti") but with the presence of others ordered (over the years) individually and never tasted together in a riot of flavors mixed artfully (% targeted with mastery); given the 2018 vintage and the alcohol content, it surprised all the guests (I wouldn't have said it at a first taste, ditto for the following ones, persistent and delicate taste at the same time and with an intense aroma). Starter with a puff pastry with pâté, honey, walnuts and Volterra pecorino for the ladies and for "us" a trio of mini appetizers which included; quail egg with truffle, wild boar salami, ravioli with liver pâté (if I remember correctly), vegetable flan with melted cheese, raw ham with rocket and parmesan (very tasty and with a long and refined taste). For the second courses: jugged wild boar for us (very good even if I preferred the "less dry" inside of the meat but, with the cooking sauce it was appreciated regardless); instead for the ladies, sweet and strong Maremma wild boar (with chocolate, this combination is much appreciated). Baked potatoes with rosemary (perfectly cooked), sautéed vegetables and fried vegetables as a side dish. Fruit sorbet and Bischeri cake for dessert. Finally the coffee (very good). Small but very clean toilet. Excellent lunch and at an average cost, certainly worth returning and recommending.
04/04/2025: Unique place... It's like feeling at home but also pampered. Mainly Tuscan food, delicious and served by friendly people who pay attention to the customer's needs. I congratulate you! Really good!

03/05/2025: Restaurant that we considered in Pereta. The restaurant offers dinner with a fixed menu including wine at a moderate price (€27). The courses are numerous and plentiful. The kitchen is family run. The food and service overall seemed to us to be without praise or infamy but the fixed menu formula penalizes the experience a bit. Considering the current score (4.7) we expected more.
27/04/2025: TOP place! Typical Tuscan trattoria like it once was... family run or not, few dishes, but delicious and with the house red wine already at the table, good and honest.
Jokes aside, it's a typical Tuscan inn, easy-going and you have to take it as such, but the food is very good. We had a ham as an appetizer which we forget about in the city. Tuscan crostini for two, 6 first courses, 2 second courses, wine and water and we spent €100 and in the end he also gave us a plate of ham. It's not like classic restaurants. So you have to accept that he doesn't have a menu and he tells you verbally what he prepared that day. You can choose between a taste of everything or individual dishes like we did because the 4 adults with 2 children don't eat a lot. Ravioli with meat sauce good although personally I don't like ricotta and spinach ravioli. Mushroom gnocchi full of flavor like I haven't eaten for a long time and truffle tagliolini that I would come back from Rome every weekend just to eat again. A stewed wild boar that was butter and a pig or with potatoes that melted in your mouth. I'll definitely be back as soon as I'm back in these parts.
I recommend that you always book so as not to risk staying without having tried the food of this place also because no words can truly describe the flavour... especially the truffle tagliolini :-) Great!

01/05/2025: Very friendly welcome and staff. The dishes are delicious and the chef seems meticulous about quality (presentation+++). Fresh and homemade. A great discovery (the revisited gnocchi are to die for... delicious). I highly recommend it. (Very affordable prices)

Good rabbit but micro portion.
Service of an unjustified formality, which has nothing to do with professionalism.
Too pretentious environment, also full of flies... just a peek at the back (bathroom, kitchen, closet...) is enough to understand that cleanliness and order are not at home.
Definitely overrated
02/05/2025: Our waiters Virginia and Raffaele were able to exceed any service expectations, accompanying us on this tasting journey paired with spectacular local wines. Truly a ten and praise. I obviously recommend stopping by here.
I'm sure that the Michelein stars will be the next step

Un oste a modo che racconta, una sommelier che indica la rotta senza invadenza, una bistecca che si scioglie in bocca, insomma Una serata da incorniciare.
Esperienza superlativa.
26/04/2025: Tutto ottimo, eravamo in 6 e siamo stati accolti benissimo dal titolare e dal suo staff.
Cibi super, abbiamo provato taglieri, ravioli, pappardelle con sughi diversi, agnello e contorni, tutto buonissimo.
Ottimo assortimento di vini e di grappe…
