The atmosphere was pleasant and the servers were friendly. The lasagna was good and plentiful, but not exceptional. The touch of limoncello was a nice addition.

I absolutely loved the restaurant! We were very warmly welcomed and had a wonderful experience. We tried the burrata, cacio e pepe, and spaghetti, and we also had the house wine — everything was delicious! I highly recommend it, and I only regret discovering this place on my last day in Florence. I hope to come back one day!

Fabrizio is the best host :-) We had the ossobuco and the pasta caccio e pepe, and both were delicious – the ossobuco, in particular, is highly recommended. You can tell how much love went into it! Grazie!

Wow — Pensavo Peggio truly delivers that authentic Italian experience! From the first bite, everything was outstanding. The bruschetta al pomodoro was bright, fresh, and delicious. Fresh-made spaghetti and pici al ragù were perfectly cooked with rich, flavorful sauces. We paired with a lovely red table wine that hit the spot. Service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable about both the menu and Florence. Our server made the evening even better with great recommendations. One small suggestion for the future: a couple of thoughtful zero-proof drink options would be a nice addition alongside the excellent wine list. Overall, this was a delightful dinner in the heart of Florence. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

Not exaggerating when I say the lasagna was the best bite of my life. We had a wonderful time at this authentic restaurant. Everyone in my family, including my parents who have eaten many meals in Italy, enjoyed the dinner and said it was amazing. On top of the wonderful food, the hospitality from the owner and server were incredible. Feel very lucky we found this place - I’d come back to Florence just for another meal!
