05/10/2025: A five-star experience, and it couldn't be otherwise. Top-notch cuisine, in a location whose architecture alone makes it worth a visit. Unfortunately, the chef wasn't there the night of our dinner; we would have happily conveyed our compliments to him verbally. The staff was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Recommended!

29/01/2026: We had lunch on Sunday, January 25th with friends. Excellent appetizers and first courses, as well as desserts served with moka pot coffee. The service was also good, and the prices were average. A small point about the slightly uncomfortable bench seating. Highly recommended.

21/02/2026: This is an exceptional restaurant! By far, the best dinner we had during our 2 week Italy road trip. Intimate, friendly restaurant with phenomenal food. Husband and wife team - charming Julia, front of house and friendly chef Gabriel was a winning partnership. The fusion cooking, Italian with Asian influence and heavy seafood bias was very welcome in meat heavy Tuscany! The scallops starter was outstanding - beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Pasta with cuttlefish was simply divine and the sea bass main course was delicious. We really appreciated Julia's wine recommendations, as a sommelier she listened to our preferences and found us a perfect Chianti and gorgeous rosé. This was our favourite dinner in Italy and exceptional value too! Thank you both, we will be back!

21/01/2026: The best restaurant in Lucca, hands down. A classy welcome, they greet you with focaccia and their own olive oil, a culinary journey that perfectly reflects the chef's journey through Asia. At the end of each course, the super-kind waitress asked how we were doing and how we liked the dishes. Speechless. The restaurant is small and very welcoming, with an elegant yet friendly atmosphere. At the end of the evening, the chef came into the dining room, and I couldn't help but congratulate him and ask for the fish soup. SPECTACULAR, PLEASE TRY IT. The price is worth it, and in fact... the only time I think I could say that, I would have paid even more and not complained. I will definitely be back.

04/01/2026: We went there for dinner on January 3 with another couple of friends. The place was very nice. The food was very good, beautifully presented on beautiful plates. I've been vegan for almost 16 years and I'm very happy when new places open, not only for the satisfaction of eating there, but also because it allows people to better understand the vegan option, which is very tasty and healthy. I was happy to see the restaurant fill up. I highly recommend it.

14/12/2025: The dishes were plentiful, very good, and well-prepared. The only small flaw, which is why I gave the service 4 stars, is that, in my opinion, the owner could have smiled a little more, but that's all. All good, anyway.

14/02/2026: When we went to the place where we were told to sit, we were seated in the far corner of the restaurant next to another Asian person. And there were 3 of us, but they told us to sit at a table for 2 with chairs pushed together. The food portions were generous and they took our orders fairly quickly.

21/10/2025: A truly beautiful, traditional restaurant with a very special charm. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening – the food was incredibly delicious and lovingly prepared. It felt like we were eating at someone's home – warm, authentic, and simply comfortable. A place we'd happily recommend and certainly won't be the last time we visit!

29/11/2025: Having stumbled upon a restaurant that turned out to be a true gem, we were greeted immediately by friendly, smiling staff with a familiar touch, the kind that makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. We started with a bruschetta with sausage and stracchino cheese, simply divine: crispy bread, fresh ingredients, and a perfect balance of flavors. This was followed by two unforgettable first courses: pappardelle and garganelli, both homemade. The pasta had that authentic texture that only artisanal preparations can provide, with rich, fragrant, and truly well-balanced toppings. To round things off, two desserts capped off the meal in the best possible way: delicious, carefully crafted, and perfect for those who love a sweet end. An experience that not only exceeded all expectations, but left us wanting to return. A place where you eat like a god, in the true spirit of Chianti. Highly recommended!

09/01/2026: We arrived somewhat by chance, unfamiliar with the place. We were surprised by the beautiful atmosphere. The staff is welcoming, kind, and professional. The food is truly excellent in every way; beauty and flavor go hand in hand, all accompanied by a small initial gift: a delicious savory cream puff, and superb focaccia and breadsticks! The dessert samples at the end are also truly excellent! And you won't leave hungry; that's also important. A wonderful experience!

It confirms its place as a place of great care and love for the ingredients and the combinations of flavours. Tradition and imagination are joyfully (ours!) embraced on the plate. 10/01/2026: We spent a few days in Pistoia for the Christmas holidays, and on the evening of January 1st, craving a nice Florentine steak, we stumbled upon this typical trattoria. They offer a fixed-price menu, which I recommend, which includes mixed appetizers, a Florentine steak of a weight appropriate for the number of guests, three side dishes, and a dessert. Drinks are not included. The owner, like the staff, is incredibly welcoming. You can tell they really care about explaining the quality and provenance of the meat. Oh! By the way, aside from appetizers and side dishes: THEY ONLY EAT MEAT! It's a real steakhouse; they don't do first courses, they don't do fish... What a steak, folks! Served on piping hot plates so it doesn't get cold, and cut at the table by the owner himself. The only flaw: they served us French meat. Good, tender, but not the most flavorful. I would have preferred local meat. Anyway, I recommend it. It's worth it.

Enjoy fabulous grilled meats and traditional dishes with tasty crostini, excellent cured meats, side dishes, and appetizers, accompanied by a wide selection of white and red wines. The owners, with great professionalism and kindness, recommend these wines, turning a simple dinner into a truly exquisite culinary experience. The restaurant is truly beautiful, meticulously maintained, and fantastic for photographs. Excellent in every way! The food, wines, hospitality, and sophistication. Recommended restaurant!
