We had a great time! Our dining experience was really good, the food tasted even better than we anticipated, I sincerely recommend if someone wants to try traditional tuscan cuisine, the table service was very professional and helpful.

This is a cozy restaurant with great food, beautifully and tastefully prepared. Our server Walter was attentive without being intrusive, and very friendly.

My family (my wife, me, 2.5 year old, 8 year old) visited Italy and spent two nights in Florence. This spot was good enough that both nights we were in Florence we ate dinner here. After scouring reviews for “Italian restaurants” within walking distance of my hotel my wife stumbled upon this establishment and we were drawn in by the reviews, menu, and photos of menu items…not to mention an English version of the menu. We made reservations only because we were a party of 4 but plenty of couples just walked in and were seated. It could be busier other nights, we went on a Sunday and Monday, around 7:45. The restaurant is small and adequately lit. It is adorned with art and paintings of places in Italy. The manager is Walter and he’s wonderful. My wife and I were a little nervous for how our kids would behave, specifically unsure of our 2 year old’s unpredictable energy level. Walter was very warm and welcoming to my family and especially friendly with our kids. Our food was unreal and came out very quickly. I ordered the cacio e pepe simply because it’s a well known pasta dish and I wanted to eat authentic cacio e pepe in Italy. I ate the braised duck the second night. My wife ate the tagliatelle night 1 and the gnocchi night 2. My 8 year old who is beyond picky ate the grilled tenderloin both nights. (If you normally order medium rare, order medium). My 2 year old ate pici pasta with white meat sauce night 1 and the cacio e Pepe night 2 (so I could eat some). I’m not a food reviewer so I’m not going to unpack every dish we ate, I’ll just say everything was stellar. Walter’s wife is the chef and a goddess in the kitchen. We spent a little over $100 each night. I also ordered some drinks that were 8-10€ a piece. We were also a party of 4 so a couple of a solo diner could spend less. Between the atmosphere, customer service, and menu items, this place exceeds a 5/5 rating. I don’t know when we will visit Florence again, but we will be visiting this restaurant again.

An exceptional moment in an intimate and welcoming setting. We discovered delicious local dishes, prepared with care and authenticity. The service was attentive, professional, and always offered excellent advice. We immediately felt at ease, like we were at home. A place I recommend without hesitation! What a truly wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious – you could genuinely taste the love and care in every dish. Everything felt thoughtful, authentic and made with heart. But what really makes this place special is the warmth and hospitality. The restaurant is run by Walter and his wife, and their passion, kindness and attention to detail are felt everywhere – in the service, in the atmosphere, and of course in the food. A charming, incredibly sweet restaurant right in the heart of Florence.

This restaurant is run by a husband and wife and has a relaxed atmosphere. Walter, the husband, was very polite and carefully explained each recommendation! I was also impressed by how delicious the Filetto made by the wife was! I would definitely go back if I come to Italy again!
