We were lucky enough to find this restaurant on our last night in Florence. We had amazing meals, a wonderful ambiance, and topped it off with a delicious dessert. Recommend making this a dinner stop while in Florence.

I read the positive reviews and they proved spot on. This was a cozy, quiet spot, with great food. Mushroom risotto was excellent as was the steak in a reduction sauce. Walter was charming, as was his wife(back in the kitchen). Highly recommend!!!

Small but welcoming environment in this phenomenal osteria in the heart of Firenze. Our waiter, Walter, was fantastic, and the service was quick and very kind. The food was absolutely terrific, undoubtedly the best we’ve had in our stay in Florence. I highly recommend the ravioli. 10/10!

One of the best pasta I have ever eaten. I would recommend to save some room for dessert. Cosy atmosphere with suiting classical music. Mr Walter was very gracious and he welcomed us with a big smile :)

Wonderful experience at the cheese and wine tavern, very attentive staff to look after you as best as possible, I recommend booking given the few tables.

Nous avons mangé d’excellentes pâtes. La cuisson était al DENTE. Le restaurant est agréable et le serveur sympathique. On a très bien mangé.

We stumbled upon this lovely little osteria on our first night in Florence. Walter was a charming host and picked out a delightful Chianti to accompany our meal. His wife is the chef so the menu is not large but we know that means good food! Tomatoes, burrata cheese, meat plate, duck, pasta were so good we brought friends back for a second meal! A rare treat!

28/03/2024: Very good, good quality products for a meal on the go! Please note: if you eat on site, you must have drinks.
19/03/2024: The sandwich is tasty, but the service is lousy. If you want to eat your sandwich indoors, that is only allowed if the 2nd person (with gluten intolerant) also takes a sandwich and both have something to drink .

26/03/2024: Away from the heavily touristed restaurants, this is a gem of a restaurant with excellent Tuscan beef dishes. I highly recommend it.
