12/10/2025: Superlative! Especially for the quiet atmosphere, not as noisy as other restaurants. The dishes are aligned with typical traditional Indian specialties and, given the wide selection, cater to all tastes; I even found a couple of recipes I hadn't yet discovered. I'll definitely be back, even though it's a bit out of the way, to share it with friends.

23/09/2025: A refined and intimate atmosphere, excellent service. Among the sauces served at the table, I didn't like the spicy one, even though I really enjoy those types of sauces. The portions are small, but the food is good. About €35 per person, not a huge meal. Prices are perhaps a bit high. Still, it's a good restaurant for a different kind of ethnic cuisine. The semini after the meal and the aged rum are good.

20/02/2026: My cousin and I happened to stop by last night to eat there. Excellent quality and quantity. The atmosphere is welcoming and the owner is very helpful. You have to try her spectacular cheesecake! We'll definitely be back. Daniela & Maria

06/02/2026: I stumbled upon this place by chance with my boyfriend, but we were truly blown away by the food and the kindness of the staff. I recommend the smash burger, but also the other meat products! The fries on the side were delicious and well-fried! Special mention for the welcoming lady (I assume the owner)! We'll definitely be back to try other dishes!

01/02/2026: If you're driving near Fornovo Val di Taro, leave the highway and head to Osteria Le Vigne (Varano de' Melegari) and treat yourself to a truly excellent lunch or dinner. The atmosphere, food, and service are all top-notch, making you wonder why the service can't be this good everywhere. In any case, it's a very unique place that offers traditional Parmesan dishes with a touch of originality. Excellent ingredients expertly prepared. A carefully crafted food and wine list. And to top it all off, an absolutely reasonable bill. Well done. Don't change!! 👍

The menu is extensive: the chef's dishes are interesting and imaginative, with excellent pairings! The quality is certainly not lacking, but it's important to consider the price tag. The service is very helpful and friendly. I'd like to emphasize the chef's willingness and kindness to create special dishes after we indicated vegan options at our table when booking. Recommended if you're looking for new flavors and experiences!

28/03/2026: Greeted by a Genoa poster, as a Genoese, I was delighted. Then, after the welcome greeting with a reminder that the kitchen closes in half an hour, I understood...! Jokes aside, everything was excellent.

19/11/2025: Upon arriving at 9pm, we were left waiting at reception while the staff member finished a personal conversation. This immediately set the wrong tone. When we finally asked about an evening meal, we were told there was “no availability” because other guests had chosen to dine in. No effort was made to offer an alternative, no solutions were suggested, and we were simply directed to a local pizzeria. This level of indifference is unacceptable. A 4-star hotel should never leave guests without any dining options or basic consideration. Even a simple gesture—such as offering something light at the bar—would have demonstrated care and professionalism. We escalated the issue the following morning, yet the response from another colleague only reinforced the same dismissive attitude. Overall, the service we received was not only disappointing but far below what any guest should expect from a hotel of this rating, this simply ruined our short weekend break. "Date stayed Friday 14th for two nights"

15/03/2026: What a fantastic restaurant. Excellent home-cooked local recipes, with a friendly staff that made us feel like we were home. We loved everything, but definitely have the agnolotti. We tried several others during our stay in Turin, and Taverna’s was head and shoulders above all the rest.

12/12/2025: The takoyaki are superb! I've been going there since it opened a few years ago. The other dishes are also excellent, and the sake is unique. The staff is very friendly. The only downside is the size of the place and the smell of fried food you leave with. It's still one of my favorite gourmet stops.
