12/11/2025: The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately puts us at ease. We order the trio of appetizers, plus a shared Russian salad: all the flavors are clear and right; the freshest tomino cheese and the perfect green sauce; the cooking technique for the vitello tonnato modernizes the value of tradition, maintaining its evident quality, which begins with the raw ingredients. This adherence to tradition does not deprive us of pleasant surprises with the appearance of unexpected aromas, expertly and meticulously scattered on the serving plates, perhaps the fragrance of a tiny lavender flower... We continue with the Scialatielli with sardines and wild fennel (and everything else you need): sumptuous, with a rich sauce that preserves the intensity of the fish's flavor, the sweet and spicy interplay is perfectly balanced. We finish with the Baked Pumpkin, comforting and tasty. We drank a well-balanced Barbera, chosen from the bulk wine selection. The prices were more than fair, and the service was punctual and attentive. An experience that combines the full pleasure of an evening with the joy of knowing, in a challenging context like Barriera, brilliant businesses like this one exist, where the awareness of know-how can overcome any challenge. 09/11/2025: Bagnacauda, ​​only anchovies, no garlic, mostly salty and inedible. The chef was rude, the kitchen was very dirty. He had the nerve to charge me extra for asking for two extra cardoons and the extra coffee. Total: two bagnacauda with vegetables, terrible quality, €71...highly not recommended. There are many Piedmontese restaurants where you eat a hundred times better at much more honest prices, and I'm not one to skimp on food. If I complain and you respond as the owner, I'll be happy with a half-smile after having robbed me for two poorly prepared dishes. You're rude, impolite, and incapable of dealing with customers. If the anchovies were sweetened with milk, I wouldn't still be drinking water at 8:00 PM. It's pathetic. Then again, I still have to figure out how we got to €71 from two bagnacauda menus with water, wine, coffee, and service charge. Thief and unintelligent, you steal today, you stay home tomorrow...good luck, you'll need it.

29/10/2025: A great stop before leaving Turin. I had a stew and a side of mixed vegetables. Everything was really good, including a decent selection of craft beers (not the usual well-known brands). The owner was very helpful.

01/11/2025: We had dinner, 11 of us (including 4 children). Fast service, very kind, attentive, and patient waitress! The food (farinate, saltimbocca, seaweed fritters, pizzas, and desserts): everything was excellent and the portions were generous! We'll see you again soon! 😉

12/10/2025: Superlative! Especially for the quiet atmosphere, not as noisy as other restaurants. The dishes are aligned with typical traditional Indian specialties and, given the wide selection, cater to all tastes; I even found a couple of recipes I hadn't yet discovered. I'll definitely be back, even though it's a bit out of the way, to share it with friends.

23/09/2025: A refined and intimate atmosphere, excellent service. Among the sauces served at the table, I didn't like the spicy one, even though I really enjoy those types of sauces. The portions are small, but the food is good. About €35 per person, not a huge meal. Prices are perhaps a bit high. Still, it's a good restaurant for a different kind of ethnic cuisine. The semini after the meal and the aged rum are good.

01/12/2025: An elegant, well-kept, and very welcoming location. We had lunch to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were greeted with courtesy and professionalism by Mr. Gianni. We chose the meat-based menu. The food was excellent and of high quality. Our guests were thrilled. Highly recommended. Thank you for making this day perfect. I'll be back as soon as possible.

20/11/2025: I loved it so much that I "needed" to return the next day. Yes, because for dinner I chose the meatballs, the Vicenza-style cod, and, last but not least, the delicious cod cheesecake. But that wasn't enough; I wanted to try the first courses! So I returned the next day to savor more appetizers, the wonderful stuffed ravioli, and another dessert. What can I say? Impeccable table service, refined atmosphere, and a very kind chef. I'm thrilled in every way! Congratulations on the welcome, the suggestions, the descriptions of the dishes, the tastings, and the mint infusion. It was a unique flavor experience!

17/08/2025: We ate with another couple of friends, enjoying a dinner we had purchased during a promotion. As soon as we arrived, we were told, "Tonight you just have to sit down, choose, eat well, and have fun," and so it was. We chose everything included in the promotion, from the same menu and in the same quantities as the other tables. There were no unpleasant surprises as often happens in other places with various promotions. The food was wonderful, and everything was impeccable, from the service to the friendliness. Choose this place for a dinner that's different from the usual. I don't usually review places, but this was a truly unique experience. The entire staff deserves top praise. Thank you so much for a fantastic evening. We will definitely be returning.

14/08/2025: A restaurant that captivates from the first course to the last! The seafood charcuterie board is a real discovery: tasty, refined, and unlike anything I've tried elsewhere. Everything else on the menu is top-notch, with incredibly fresh fish and meticulous presentation. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

01/12/2025: We went for Sunday lunch and were immediately impressed by the fantastic service and customer care, which continued throughout the meal. We chose the "Piemonte" set menu, of which I've attached photos, and I can only give it 5 stars, from the service, to the food, and to the off-menu "additions" served during the meal (an entrée with an alcoholic drink and a sorbet before dessert). There's internal parking where you can conveniently leave your car. We'll definitely be back.

Seasonal menus are well-designed, creative, and equally well-executed. The price is fair for the quality offered. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back.

30/11/2025: We had finished our excursion and wanted to try some authentic food prior to embarkation. We stopped here as it was very near our ship and we were hoping for a good experience. Instead, we waited as 4 other tables which ALL arrived AFTER we did- were served. Still, we patiently waited. Then 45 minutes passed. At this point I was ready to leave without eating. Our order has not even been taken!! Completely ignored!! If my significant other had not insisted, I definitely would not have waited. Afar an hour and 15 minutes, they took our orders and after 2.5 hours, we ate. Barely had time to make it back to the ship!!! TERRIBLE service!!! Food was NOT worth the EXTREMELY rude and petty behavior!!! I definitely do NOT recommend!! Server was the WORST!!!

01/10/2025: I've had takeout pizza many times from this pizzeria, which also has a street food element, considering their "pizza al portafoglio" (wallet pizzas). You can see their professionalism and expertise; when they serve you a "pizza al portafoglio" (wallet pizza), they wait for it to reach the right temperature before folding it. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and despite everything, their prices are competitive, as if they hadn't been affected by inflation. In conclusion, the best pizzeria in Turin!
