17/12/2024: Comfortably installed on the terrace, we enjoyed an unforgettable evening, where the flavors and colors dazzled our senses. The dishes were simply delicious, with a special mention for the Pansotti stuffed with ricotta and basil pesto, the grilled octopus served on a bed of green salad and carrots, without forgetting the tiramisu which concluded this meal on a high note. perfect. A big thank you for this moment!

15/12/2024: Super pleasant discovery! After visiting the Sacra di San Michele, we were looking for a restaurant where we could eat something quick without spending a fortune! We found this place on Google map with a truly top quality-price ratio and a particular and very well-kept place! Typical Piedmontese and non-Piedmontese dishes, really well prepared and delicious! Very kind and fast service! Super recommended!!

05/01/2025: Very nice place, tastefully decorated. Very good, creative and fun sushi. We appreciated both the traditional one and the "special" versions such as the nigiri with veal with tuna sauce or the focaccia. Fair price for what is offered. The name of the place is poetry!

10/01/2025: Review for the restaurant. Om 'd Fer is the result of a well-done renovation of an ancient medieval castle, located in the center of S. Ambrogio and right on the road that leads to the Sacra di S. Michele. The place is very beautiful in the view it offers and in the contrast between the stone and the windows; the room is warm and the tables are far apart from each other. We were also very happy with the food: beautiful proposals, good quality of the raw materials and excellent preparation techniques. The starters are the highlights, with refined flavors and in perfect harmony in their combinations; the former also excellently made and balanced in taste (only some doubts about the quality of the prawns used); the second courses were also good (with the exception of the pumpkin with fondue which I didn't particularly like). The Barbera is also excellent. Overall I would give 4.5 on the food, with a fifth star which I don't feel I can give for three aspects: 1) Courteous service, but detached and never with a smile, almost intimidating (this was pointed out to me by more than one diner) 2) The portions on some starters or main courses seemed too small to me (first courses all ok) 3) At a table with 10 seats and 400 euros for lunch, they charged a 1 year old child €2 cover charge for the mere use of the stool to sit at the table: for the series "how to get lost in a glass of water ". Note: If you bring a cake you will be charged 1.50 per person for cutting.

24/01/2025: On the occasion of my birthday, I organized a dinner with a tasting menu. Stefano and the other guys at the restaurant pampered and looked after us like never before 🙏🏻. Table near the fireplace, very nice place, spectacular food and beautifully presented. Delicious Armenian wine and vodka. A food and wine experience definitely worth having, and one that I highly recommend. Next time I'll do a normal menu just to choose other delicacies, like reindeer fillet! The cake chosen by me, but made by the restaurant chef, was very good and delicate. Ideal after a dinner full of flavours! Thank you so much...I will definitely be back.

If like us you are going for the first time I highly recommend choosing the tasting menu while for the choice of wine we entrusted ourselves to the dining room staff who made an excellent choice for us! 29/12/2024: Da premettere che non ho mangiato male ….i plin ripieni di cipolla immersi nella fonduta di parmigiano perdevano il loro sapore, lo zabajone buono ma forse fatto un po’ prima…si stava formando una patina. Il cameriere dovrebbe sapere che quando si versa il vino non si passa davanti alle persone, ma si gira!
