We had an extremely positive experience during our visit. The quality of the food was excellent and we highly recommend this establishment.

The waiter, who was a bit older, was therefore unfortunately a little slower but not worse. We had to wait quite a while for the menus and to order, but were rewarded with good food.

Excellent lunch today at the Caropepe restaurant! The food was very tasty and had interesting Sicilian flavors. The welcome and service were accompanied by such kindness! Thank you for making our trip to your welcoming Bardonecchia even more enjoyable!

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The two appetizers were excellent—especially the Antica Caponata Siciliana, which had a wonderful balance of sweet and tangy flavors, and the Fusilloni alla Norma, which was outstanding. One pleasant surprise was the pasta itself. Unlike the al dente pasta served in many restaurants across Italy, this one was cooked a little longer, which suited our taste perfectly. The seafood selection was interesting and unique, especially for those who enjoy Sicilian specialties. unfortunately there were no beef dishes available that evening, leaving very limited options for anyone not looking for seafood or rabbit. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal with authentic Sicilian flavors, and we’d happily come back.

Lunch in Bardonecchia, Italy, June 27, 2026: The food wasn't fresh, especially the asparagus; I suspect it was frozen. The drinks were good, both the beer and the wine. Overall, a disappointing lunch, not worth the trip. I don't understand why there are so many good reviews.
