11/01/2025: My friend Michele's pizzeria located in the square in Montone. The pizza is special and the platters are excellent. Super recommended

30/03/2025: We had an amazing lunch here - the food, wine, and view were all great. Each dish was beautiful and much thought and care had been put into every element on the plates. We are vegetarian and though at first we thought there might not be many options, it was no problem - there were several great options for each course and we had a hard time choosing which dish was our favorite! The service was friendly and attentive, just the right amount of attention. We live in the DC area with several Michelin star restaurants around us and il Frantoio definitely lived up to that high standard! We’ll be back the next time we’re in town.

28/03/2025: Il locale è molto carino, musica in sottofondo, gradevole l'arredo e la posizione è meritevole. La scelta nel menù è particolare e ovviamente non per tutti i palati. Il cibo è ottimo ed è un'esperienza da provare.

09/03/2025: Promessa di ritornare e si torna! La melodia delle bruschette e drgli strangozzi al tartufo passa in secondo piano di fronte ad una proprietaria che, costretta continuamente a rifiutare clienti per mancanza di posti, esce dalla cucina per salutarti con un abbraccio (vistauna solavolta!). Servizio puntuale ed attento, atmosfera di famiglia e tanta cordialità. Ci vediamo presto!

05/03/2025: Almost at the top of Spello, on the corner of the square, going up on the right, a small place, but with tables both inside and outside. We had strangozzi all'amatriciana and scrambled egg with truffle. Homemade strangozxi and good but "light" sauce, scrambled egg, very good. For the second course we both had the aubergine parmigiana. All good, rating more 5 stars than 4 stars.

15/03/2025: Peppe's fry shop is an institution in the Borgo. Personally it is a fixed reference. His fried fish are exceptional and his Chianina 🍔 burgers are the best in Perugia. A place where I suggest stopping and eating both during the lunch break and in the evening. All seasoned with the courtesy of Peppe who makes the environment familiar even to the occasional passer-by.

18/03/2025: Firstly, the service was great. There was only one bartender and one waiter for the whole restaurant. Even though he was rushed off his feet he never forgot anything and gave great service. What didn’t help him was the loud ringing and shouting coming from the kitchen. They would ring once and then ring three or four times more. This was really off putting. That wasn’t the only problem with the kitchen. The food was tasty but we felt cheated by what came vs what the menu had described. Fresh salad with a corn cream turned into a rocket salad, a few cherry tomatoes and a drizzle of mayo for €5. Pumpkin chips turned out to be a few pumpkin shavings on top of the meat. Also €5 for stale bread that we tasted and then put to the side. It was a nice room with good food. If the menu wasn’t exaggerated and the kitchen wasn’t obnoxious then it would be a complete different vibe.

13/03/2025: In città per il concerto di Baglioni, non avendo né tempo né voglia di mangiare in uno dei tanti ristoranti, abbiamo chiesto per caso ad una signora del posto che ci ha indicato la Pizzeria dell'Orologio. Per noi è stata veramente una salvezza: in una serata fredda, ci siamo potuti sedere al calduccio all'interno e prendere tre bei tranci di pizza gustosa, ben condita e veramente spettacolare quanto a digeribilità. Una bella bottiglia di birra e un conto di poco più di 10 euro ci hanno accompagnato fino all'orario in cui ci siamo avviati, facendo una gradevole passeggiata, verso il bel Teatro Giancarlo Menotti. Visti i tanti tavoli all'aperto non posso che immaginare il piacere di sedervi d'estate gustando dell'ottima pizza. Stra-con-si-glia-ta!

02/03/2025: Abbiamo pranzato con un tagliere: molto bello, ben presentato e ottimi prodotti! Come dessert, una focaccia con gorgonzola, pere e noci, nulla da dire, se non fantastica e molto crunchy! Consigliato, buona posizione e molto facile da raggiungere, a pochi minuti dal duomo di Spoleto! Ps: quello in foto è il tagliere Grande.

10/03/2025: We chose this farmhouse to spend 2 days in Assisi. What can I say? Beautiful! Very kind welcome from Emiliano and Diego, they made us feel like family. Very clean room, with daily cleaning and change of towels, shower gel, soap, caps, hairdryer. Stunning panorama, waking up in the morning contemplating the greenery of Assisi and the local olive trees is priceless! Excellent breakfast, both sweet and savory. To underline the goodness of the homemade desserts! What can I say, we will definitely return, it will be our point of reference in Assisi! Thank you 🤩

You can also buy artisanal products and they prepare truly unique ones from enjoy at home! Highly recommended even for non-vegans!

28/10/2024: atmosfera suggestiva. location caratteristica. camere un po' piccole ma funzionali. organizzazione e gestione di tipo agriturismo non vi aspettate un trattamento da 5 stelle. cena molto buona ad un prezzo onestissimo (vino della casa offerto) colazione genuina senza buffet ma a richiesta vi sono affettati e formaggi, uova. piscina molto bella. il tutto immerso in un oliveto fantastico con vista sulla vallata. Ospitalità genuina ma professionale.
