Excellent food; we had fantastic first courses.
The room was a disaster. The bathroom had a shower stall that was falling apart. The toilet flush wouldn't refill unless you turned on the fan to keep it quiet at night. The toilet seemed filthy because of limescale leaks that wouldn't go away. The wooden floor had gaps between the planks, so anyone upstairs could see you in the shower!
The fridge didn't cool at all, and the freezer was practically nonexistent.
I don't know if this was just our room; I hope the others are better.

18/05/2026: We chose Ristorante Ferrari at the last minute, since it was already late for lunch, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
The restaurant is very beautiful and quaint, with a truly charming and welcoming interior. We ate very well: tasty appetizers and truly delicious spaghetti carbonara.
The only negative was the meat, which was unfortunately overcooked compared to how we had requested. Otherwise, however, we were satisfied with the experience and the restaurant's atmosphere.

When you understand the dedication that a single grape brings to our lives, you realize that the love of the people who do that work soothes our souls. Mercede's guide to the Lungarotti cellars accompanied us this afternoon on an educational and truly moving journey.
We thank her and her husband, Attilio, for their hospitality and for the gift of an experience for which we will always be grateful.
07/04/2026: On vacation in Umbria with my wife, we took a guided tour of the wineries and tasted their wines and olive oils. It was truly a wonderful experience. My compliments to the people who guided us on this tour, teaching us new things and leaving us with wonderful memories. The wines are very good, and we bought a good supply for ourselves and to give as gifts to friends.

22/05/2026: The restaurant for dinner offers excellent veal tagliata with porcini mushrooms. The chef's tagliolini with blueberries, gorgonzola, and walnuts are exceptional, served on beautiful Deruta ceramic plates. Lunch is self-service with excellent prices and delicious dishes. The staff is truly attentive and helpful. I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

15/04/2026: An old-fashioned tavern where time is marked by an antique grandfather clock. The owner is a jack-of-all-trades: cook, waiter, and entertainer. The menu is presented verbally. The legumes are divinely cooked, and the portions are generous when needed. The prices, in our opinion, are reasonable.
16/12/2025: Gino, the owner, cook, and often waiter, does everything himself, even the morning grocery shopping for the restaurant. Excellent, authentic, and unpretentious, typical Perugian home cooking. It's popular with locals and tourists, but it's not a tourist magnet. In summer, you can eat outside in the open-air space in front of the entrance. Recently, it's only open for lunch; for dinner, reservations are required, and probably only for groups.

19/04/2026: Our stay at Agriturismo Guinzano was surprising, relaxing, and beautiful. The property is located half an hour from the center of Gubbio, surrounded by greenery and practically isolated. The atmosphere is incredible, not only thanks to the idyllic setting but also thanks to the owners, who make you feel welcomed and pampered. We had dinner and breakfast here during our vacation, and it was absolutely worth it: the freshness of the locally sourced ingredients and the passion they put into every preparation are evident. We highly recommend this place, both as a base for visiting Gubbio and the surrounding area, or just to unwind and relax.

18/03/2026: Excellent agriturismo, with very kind and helpful hosts. The rooms are perfect, very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The menu is set with local specialties, but if you book in advance, they'll be happy to accommodate your specific needs. The only caveat is that there are several kilometers of dirt road to get there, but this is clearly stated on the website. Otherwise, I recommend it. Try the tozzini.

08/05/2026: A lovely and comfortable room with a private bathroom and the option to turn on the heating – that was especially welcome after a long day of hiking. A restaurant was even reserved for us for dinner, as their own restaurant was closed, which we greatly appreciated. We felt completely at ease and thoroughly enjoyed the warm hospitality.
