17/02/2025: If you visit Panicale, this is also worth a stop, certainly also thanks to the room where there is a table overlooking the lake, with a breathtaking view of the entire valley. We had lunch there, and given the day we sat outside in the sun where there are some outdoor tables overlooking the square. Two excellent soups with legumes, but there are pizzas, desserts, platters, and also lasagna.. We sat down, ordered, ate, paid the bill at the end... even though I wanted to pay immediately. This wasn't a given given that we were outdoors... Thank you.

19/03/2025: Perfect choice for a quick lunch with typical dishes. Excellent porchetta. Friendly and familiar service. About fifteen seats inside and two tables outside. Sale of local products and wines. They also accept our 4-legged friends.

15/03/2025: I'll start by describing the setting in which we had dinner: a warm, beautiful place, with a vaulted roof, a lit fireplace, a clothes rack at the entrance (a rarity), tables set to perfection with real tablecloths; welcoming, attentive, discreet owner and waitress. Impeccable service. The food? Delightful! Tasty! Yummy! All with superlatives and exclamation points. Well deserved! The bill? Very honest! (Here too the superlative and exclamation point are deserved). Will we go back? Yes, very willingly. And finally: Compliments to the chef.

31/03/2025: Starting from the positive things, the dishes are excellent and the portions are not very large, which allows you to try different things without filling up on the same thing, the combinations with fruit are excellent. They wanted to cram a huge amount of seats into an objectively small space. If you are unfortunately among the seats in the center of the room, you end up being overwhelmed by waiters and other customers who, due to lack of space, will bump into you while you are eating. I also got hit on the head by a tray from behind, I expected to hear "sorry" but if I hadn't been the one to turn around and look at the waiter he wouldn't have said anything. At 2.35pm they started to push to finish the lunch (which had started an hour earlier) and the staff came by three times to make us understand that we had to leave. Very unpleasant feeling. The reception staff didn't smile, they didn't give us fortune cookies, a trifle that however shows how little care they have for the customer. Incidentally, the restaurant wasn't even full. I won't go back.

29/03/2025: Today the best shrimp Thai style. I had seconds. The tacos were good and unexpected. Excellent food, fresh fish and with limits that allow you to satisfy all your cravings. Everything tasty. In short, absolutely worth trying. Reasonable price. Place not too crowded.

05/04/2025: I came across this place by chance, during a visit to the historic center of Todi. I'll keep it short, the food is good. Finally a place where the famous "seasonality" that many restaurateurs preach but which is difficult to find around is respected, at least as far as my experience is concerned. I consider myself capable of appreciating good food and also commitment, and frankly here I found both reasons to praise the guys who run the restaurant. I found cardoons included in the menu, the famous seasonal side dishes which are often reduced to baked vegetables and little else. The apparently simple cuisine of the restaurant actually hides a complexity of flavors that really satisfied me. We decided to opt for two second courses, the chicken Cacciatore and the pork fillet with artichokes. I would also like to point out the artichokes present on the menu which are not easy to find. The complexity of the flavors lies in the well-done cooking and in the amalgamation of the ingredients that marry together, creating the famous harmony that should be in a good dish. When we say "grandmother's kitchen" or what in the common ideal is the elderly lady who wakes up early in the morning and goes first to the vegetable garden then to the chicken coop and immediately starts cooking what she has found. Well done slow cooking. Frankly, I grew up with that "grandma who gets up early in the morning" and I know that kitchen well, so I know how to recognize it when I find it. As far as I'm concerned, from today Todi will not only be a beautiful medieval village, but will also be the place where the Osteria Valle is located.

14/03/2025: This place was a wonderful surprise, family atmosphere, exquisite food, obsessive attention to detail, the selection of oils for each raw product is something never seen before, hats off, the only negative note is the bathroom, steep and tortuous stairs to get there, a little uncomfortable for the needs of the customer of 2025, we recommend the intervention of a technician. 14/04/2025: Sono stato con amici in questo locale per due sere consecutive, trovato e provato per caso. Ottime pinse, consentono la divisione della stessa così da assaggiare più gusti. Ben lievitata e cotta, ingredienti buoni. Indovinate che dolci ci sono? Naturalmente in tiramisù, ma in molte varianti.

22/03/2025: Generalmente scrivo sempre recensioni positive e soprattutto per carattere cerco sempre il lato positivo delle cose ma stasera non sono proprio riuscita a trovare nulla di decente,altro che positivo. Al di là della pinza che era salatissima, ma questo può essere una sfortuna della sera, come si fa a chiedere 14 euro per una pizza??????? Tutte le pizze costano 12-14 euro...inaccettabile! Ci costano primi di pesce e con tanto pesce 14 euro. Per non parlate dei tavolini. Tavolini minuscoli anche per 2 utilizzati per 4. Quello sono tavoli da caffè per 2 e non per cena per 4! Vista tanta scomodità la pizza me la devi regalare o se mi vuoi derubare con 14 euro mi devi far sedere su tavolo di cristallo con posate d argento! Io non mi spiego davvero come abbia solo recensioni positive... io mai visto prezzi così alti e Servizio così scarso!

28/03/2025: We had a lunch paired with the wines ( it was our idea, we bought a different glass for each course) The waitress was very well informed about all of the wines, she was able to answer all our questions like a true sommelier. The menus is small and represents the local cuisine. We loved our simple lunch very much. The service was impeccable and very friendly, I felt like I had a meal with my friends. We bought some wine and a condiment made of grapes which reminded me of the Modena vinegar but much better. I would like to thank the staff for making our day very special
