The restaurant is excellent both for the food and for the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. The only drawback is the limited menu.

Dinner at La Barcaccia was simply delightful. The staff were exceptionally kind, and the service was quick and impeccable (which is far from a given, especially with a child). But the real surprise was the attention paid to our son: he was treated with incredible care, and, to top it all, they didn't even charge for his meal. A gesture that speaks volumes today. As for the food, the strangozzi alla spoletina with asparagus were simply Oscar-worthy. Dishes were well-made, flavorful, and authentic. A place where you eat well, but above all, you feel truly welcomed. We'll definitely be back.

We had lunch at this restaurant on Easter Sunday. The menu, at a fair price, pleasantly surprised us. Everything was delicious, and the staff was truly friendly and helpful. The owner had a kind word for everyone present, even accommodating those who hadn't made reservations. The kindness and honesty shown toward tourists, which are never taken for granted, made our Easter even more special. I recommend it!

I spent Easter in Spoleto for the first time and chose this restaurant based on the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they didn't do it justice, as I dined there both days I was in Spoleto, as the food was truly delicious: strangozzi with truffles and Spoleto-style, mixed meat with guinea fowl, excellent entrecote cooked to perfection, and finally, the typical dessert, crescionda, which was very delicate. The quality-price ratio was excellent, not to mention the excellent service, starting with the owner, a friendly man ready to satisfy every need. I'm a member of the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) and travel a lot; it's not often I eat so well. Highly recommended.

We went for lunch on Sunday: two families with young children. We had a great time: the food was excellent, the atmosphere was comfortable. I felt like I was back in time when we ate simple, authentic food and had time to sit around the table and talk, without constant commitments or rushing. It was an experience of excellent food and relaxing with good company! Highly recommended! Plus, excellent value for money.

04/06/2026: I ordered the truffle tartare, it was minced meat, the yolk was not marinated, and perhaps too much truffle cream, it didn't convince me, for what it costs they could have given it more attention, I then ordered some roasted vegetables but they arrived too coarsely chopped and soft, the pineapple ravioli were nothing spectacular, I expected ravioli but they were slices of pineapple closed like a piadina, overall however it is eatable if you don't have too many vices
02/06/2026: The restaurant definitely has potential, and the food is decent, giving it a full pass. Unfortunately, however, our evening was somewhat marred by the service: the organization seemed confusing, there was little attention to our needs, and the wait times were decidedly long, partly due to the loud noise in the room, which made communication difficult. A special mention goes to the head waiter. She was extremely kind and polite: she tried every way to remedy the inconvenience caused by others and accommodated us on the final bill. I hope the management manages to improve the service, because the place deserves it.

28/04/2026: Lunch in the heart of Bevagna, in a truly charming location overlooking the square. We chose this restaurant for a stop during the day, and it turned out to be an excellent choice: well-executed traditional Umbrian dishes, authentic flavors, and quality ingredients. The first courses were excellent, especially those with a strong local flavor, and the second courses were equally delicious. The service was friendly and helpful, never intrusive, and well-timed despite the busy lunchtime atmosphere. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for a pleasant break between strolls through the village. Good value for money. Recommended if you're in Bevagna and want to eat well without complications.
12/04/2026: A unique and spartan location. The staff is extremely kind and professional, and the food is good and traditional.
