08/05/2026: We only had dinner at their restaurant, the service and food were fantastic, the staff were very kind and welcoming, they even made us pay less on the bill after realizing we had ordered the wrong bottle of wine, and they even offered us coffee!

30/04/2026: It was an extraordinary experience; the owner of the place is the friendliest person. He told us about his wines and his life in Gubbio. It's an excellent place to taste local wines and explore the center of Gubbio, and why not learn about the local culture?

20/12/2025: We spent 5 days in Gubbio and came here 4 of the 5! Twice for dinner and twice just to enjoy some fantastic wine before dinner elsewhere. The owner is very personable and knowledgeable...loves to talk with you about wines of the region and makes great recommendations. We were made to feel as welcome as if we were his local regulars! They will open many different wines by the glass...more so than other places we have been that limit what they are willing to open. The wine selection is outstanding and the charcuterie board a delicious sampling of regional meats, cheeses and accompaniments. We particularly loved the Cresia which can be made with toppings of your choice..."bacon" and onion for us was heaven! We sat inside but they also have a nice heated area outside. Please don't miss this spot on your visit to Gubbio...even better, stop here first to get great information about what you may want to experience while exploring wine in Umbria. If only I could have put this shop in my suitcase and taken it home with me!

15/03/2026: Wonderful place!! Starting with Federica's kindness, even though it was almost 3:30 PM, she didn't deny us access. In fact, we placed our order over the phone in the meantime, and everything was ready when we arrived!! Luigi was also very friendly and helpful! The food is excellent, and the truffles are spectacular! Highly recommended, I'll be back every chance I get, thank you!!!

11/05/2026: A sublime culinary experience on a day packed with emotions, including visits to San Francesco and San Carlo Acutis, and in the incessant rain. It was the only restaurant that took reservations a few days in advance; the others were either unavailable or didn't even answer, but it was a delightful surprise! The restaurant is small but cozy, intimate, and beautifully laid out. We enjoyed dishes from starter to dessert, seemingly simple but deliciously cooked and impeccably presented, with generous portions that were truly appreciated! The staff was friendly and very kind! The quality/price ratio was excellent. It will be our go-to place every time we return, that's for sure! Highly recommended!

13/08/2025: The restaurant is located in the center of Marsciano, and there's easy parking 150 meters away. Traffic was closed that day, so we ate on the street in a very nice location. The food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the Umbrian focaccia with sausage, pecorino cheese, and chicory. The service was quick and efficient, especially from Sabrina, who is very friendly and approachable. I think the price was fair for the quality: we spent €66 for an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and two glasses of wine. I recommend booking.

10/08/2025: Fantastic food - the cheese marshmallows were particularly amazing, as was the chocolate fondant cake served in a cute wrapped present with a bow. Location with a beautiful view and staff were wonderful and friendly and full of life. Highly recommended .

21/03/2026: Our children have been attending L’Aquilone for three years, and every time they come back full of enthusiasm! The place is beautiful, the environment welcoming, and the animals are a delightful attraction. In addition to strengthening their Italian, they enjoy experiences of community, inclusion, and friendship. Without the use of technology, they rediscover imagination, empathy, and social connection. The handling of an emotional difficulty was also excellent, managed with great sensitivity. We highly recommend it!

16/04/2026: We've been to this restaurant for dinner twice in a row. A very nice and well-maintained place, family-run. The owners are super friendly, and the service is very fast. Excellent quality food, a wide selection on the menu, and generous portions. Both the pizza and the burgers are delicious. Excellent value for money! ☺️ Highly recommended

03/05/2026: Excellent torta al testo, delicious and tasty platters. Local, quality products, declared as zero-mile. The wine selection is also good; we haven't tried the beers. The atmosphere is pleasant and intimate (the interior isn't particularly spacious), with outdoor seating recommended in the warmer months. Quick and friendly service.

04/05/2026: I had the classic tiramisu and the caramel one… both were amazing! Highly recommended for a truly delicious dessert!

17/05/2026: I used to go to Pizzeria Express in college and remembered their traditional thin-crust, crispy pizza well. Years later, I ordered takeout and chose the Elba pizza with buffalo mozzarella, mortadella, and chopped pistachios. Before ordering, I called to ask if it was possible to have it a little thicker, as the very thin version isn't my cup of tea. They offered me the double-crust version, which I gladly accepted. The only downside was the phone call: the lady who answered immediately seemed annoyed and bored by my questions, as if I were asking for something excessive. This unprofessional attitude left me perplexed. Other than that, delivery was very fast, and the double-crust was just the right thickness. The buffalo mozzarella was good, but I wasn't entirely sold on the mortadella. Overall, the pizza was quite salty: I drank a lot that night, which suggests the saltiness could be toned down a bit. The price was excellent: around €11 including delivery, truly competitive.

12/05/2026: We ordered pizza, first courses, and second courses to be delivered, and everything was delicious and plentiful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

03/05/2026: Truffle bruschetta: 2, no truffle aroma; I was expecting truffle slices, none. I'll pay! Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms: 3, very few mushrooms in a very greasy, aromaless mess; lentil soup: 4. You could smell the annoying animal fat from the soffritto. Nice outdoor location, with Vettore in front. Is that enough?

19/04/2026: The truck parking lot is very nice and clean. Showers cost 4 euros, and the toilets are free and clean. A shop is 1.7 km from the parking lot. There's a gate at the exit. Most importantly, the showers and toilets are clean. The staff is very nice and friendly. I parked at 45 and everything was great.
