Wow - I have never been welcomed so warmly. The owner not only knows how to cook really well (simple but brilliant) but is incredibly warm and a real hostess. We were there too early and despite a turbulent day and although not everything was ready, she welcomed us with joy and total openness. Dogs are welcome :) The food was delicious! Even if the ambience wasn't to my taste - it doesn't matter!!!! THE ATMOSPHERE WAS RIGHT and THE FOOD was like HEAVEN ON EARTH! GRACY!!!!

Cozy environment and good service, the terrace has a nice view. The menu offers a wide choice of starters, first and second courses, the wine list is full of good local wines. However, the food does not reflect the prices, the beef tartare is good but rather skimpy, the tiramisu has no flavour.

If you are in Umbria you must eat here! Fresh homemade pasta. The owner is amazing. The staff is wonderful. You have to eat here. Don’t pass it by!! Highly recommend.

We returned to Mattta after many years. The welcome remains super: at the beginning of the evening guests receive a prosecco and a warm smile. The menu is very varied, ranging from meat to fish and with a good offer of vegetarian options. The dishes we ordered were quite good but the quality seemed lower than 4/5 years ago. However, we left satisfied. The place is very crowded and the tables are small, so it's not super comfortable but it contributes to that feeling of welcome and familiarity that makes this place so pleasant.

There wasn't one thing that was anything but yummy. All perfect. I will definitely be back!

Abbiamo provato 6 pietanze diverse ed erano tutte ottime. La proprietaria, che è in cucina, simpaticissima e cordiale. Il tiramisù fatto in casa da lei è qualcosa di speciale. Lo abbiamo trovato per caso su internet e lo consigliamo a tutti.

Fabulous Flavia! Wowza! What a find! My wife and I had an absolutely fabulous experience here. The unexpected alfresco patio in the rear, the warm and friendly staff’s recommendations, the joyful conversation with the delightful owner, and the absolutely incredible food that celebrated all things Italy that are a reflection of the owner’s passionate love of all things food. The only disappointment was that we were planning on returning a few days later, but we had to leave the area before we could make that happen. I’m still disappointed! The restaurant is an absolute must if you are in the area. 6 stars if I could. Thank you Flavia for such a wonderful experience. È stata un'esperienza magnifica e da ripetere. La cuoca offre un menù che si adatta alle stagioni dove mescola tradizione e innovazione, si coglie in ogni piatto la passione per la cucina. La materia prima è di prima qualità, dalle verdure ai formaggi, dal pesce alla carne, per cui suggerisco di provare tutto!!!! L'ambiente è accogliente ed il servizio è attento e professionale, tutto lo staff ti fa sentire il benvenuto.
