The staff was friendly and attentive. We highly recommend it and wish there was a place like it in our city too.

I had gnocchi which tasted very artificial and came out 2 mins after I ordered. The pizza was okay but the ingredients were heavy and I couldn't finish it. Wouldn't return here

I must say we were surprised. TOP FRIED NEAPOLITAN PIZZA 😍 TOP PANZEROTTI 😍 TOP ZEPPOLINE, 😍NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT 😋🤗 THE PLACE IS THE BEST PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY STAFF VERY FAST SERVICE, and I must say we even went without a reservation, and the owner did his MAXIMUM to accommodate us... EXTRAORDINARY My compliments for everything and I HIGHLY recommend it... There will be plenty of opportunities to come back, but above all, I RECOMMEND...👍

14/02/2026: The restaurant is tucked away, but easy to find. It's charming and has been expertly renovated to preserve its ancient features. The welcome and service were excellent, fast and friendly. From appetizers to desserts, everything was top-notch. They even let us try the extra virgin olive oil from the Il Melograno farm on our bread—a truly excellent start! I absolutely have to highlight the excellent grilled chicken, the baked potatoes, and the baked onions. Everything was cooked to perfection and had an unforgettable flavor. High-quality ingredients! The desserts are excellent. And to finish on a high note, the house amaro, kindly offered by the owner. It's not at all touristy, which was my fear. RECOMMENDED!!

18/12/2025: For Koreans who haven't visited Italy before, this is a restaurant catering to locals, not tourists. It's located up the stairs in an alley near a square with a fountain. The only downside is that the stairs might be a bit difficult for those with mobility issues. I'm not sure if my husband is Italian, so I'm used to salty food, but I've seen some reviews complaining about the saltiness, but for me, it wasn't salty at all and was delicious. This was the best salad I've had throughout my travels in Italy, and the meats were, without a doubt, delicious. The price is incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food, the space is spacious and clean, and the service is excellent. This is a must-visit restaurant when you're in Assisi. Be sure to try the salad. It's fresh, and you can mix it up with a little salt, pepper, olive oil, and Venegal sauce. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, I've attached a photo so you can see what I mean. I had the mixed pork steak, and my husband had the beef steak, and both were excellent. The quality is top-notch. In Italy, they usually offer coffee after you're finished eating at a restaurant. Restaurant coffees tend to be lackluster, but this one was truly delicious. Adding the sugar that comes with your espresso makes it a perfect after-dinner treat. You can pay for your meal by standing up and approaching the waiter. The total bill came to around 71 euros, which is a good value for the quality.

18/04/2026: A chic, rustic-looking location. Traditional dishes, prepared with a critical, non-nostalgic approach. We were greeted by the genuine enthusiasm of waiter Alessio, and looked after by the entire staff. We'll be back.

19/05/2026: A pleasant surprise...to be repeated. We were also lucky; thanks to a timely cancellation, we were able to have lunch, otherwise we would have been fully booked. Thank you again... :) You were the icing on the cake.

10/05/2026: Niche restaurant, which you need to know to be able to find it with the navigator ... it offers refined dishes, with raw materials of excellent quality at a decidedly excellent price given the quality ... everything delicious from the starters to the main courses and side dishes ... even the simple apple pie was exceptionally good, with a fabulous flavour that made you want to eat more ... well kept and cared for, it has an outdoor car park, a well-kept entrance with beautiful and colourful flowers and a very beautiful interior ... visible from the uploaded photos 🥰🥰🥰.. 100% recommended

29/04/2026: We stopped by for lunch during a long cycling tour. The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The estate, under the sun, was well worth a visit. We didn't sleep here, just had lunch.

I was with my husband and siblings, and we were welcomed into a warm and authentic atmosphere, perfect for such a special day. The food was simply exceptional: each dish showcased tradition with care and quality, from the authentic flavors to the exquisite presentation. The attention to raw materials and passion for cooking were clearly evident. The service was equally impeccable: attentive and friendly. We felt pampered from start to finish, like at home, but with that extra touch that makes everything special. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone seeking authenticity, quality, and a truly memorable experience. We can't wait to return.

08/05/2026: Alla Via di Mezzo is a restaurant that immediately captivates: the food is exquisite, authentic, and top-quality, true to the restaurant's tradition and style. The staff is friendly, charming, and always available: you can tell they work with enthusiasm and are truly happy doing what they do. Giorgione is the soul of the place: he speaks to you as if he's known you forever; he's affable, warm, and treats you as an equal, just like he does with all his staff. The atmosphere is one of equality and familiarity, rather than a "boss-employee" relationship. His idea of ​​reviving the osteria of yesteryear is wonderful: the innkeeper wanders among the tables, chats, and asks how things are going. A place that has remained true to itself, just like its owner.

07/05/2026: Simply TOP. Excellent food. Excellent service. Giorgione goes around the tables to make sure everything is running smoothly, bringing his friendly touch. We came all the way from Trentino to try it. It was worth it. Highly recommended.

05/05/2026: We visited at night but I am sure it offers breathtaking views of you visit during the day. The is a family owned place and the friendliness and "family vibe" was evident amongst the staff and the customers even if you don't speak Italian! Delicious food, great wine and I absolutely loved the tiramisu!! The portions were very generous, we couldn't finish our food and overall we had a fantastic time (and the most lemony limoncello ever tasted - really great!!)

16/04/2026: Our best restaurant experience in Italy – no exaggeration. We were the first guests around 7:30 pm and received an incredibly warm welcome. Communication was a mix of gestures, smiles, and good-natured chatter – and that's precisely what made the evening so special. You can immediately sense the genuine passion behind the restaurant. The family that runs it, and especially the waiter, are a delight – as friendly, attentive, and authentic as you could wish for. We felt completely at ease from the very first moment. And the food? Every course was simply outstanding. Fresh, incredibly delicious, and prepared with so much love. As the evening progressed, the restaurant filled up completely – mostly with locals, which is always a good sign. Hardly any tourists, just genuine Italian flair. For us, it's clear: the best place in Perugia. You have to embrace this unique experience – then it will be unforgettable. Five courses for only €28 – absolutely incredible. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.
