08/10/2025: We caught it on the last day of the year. A very nice hut with a good selection. And if you want, you can even take home some homemade cheese.

11/03/2026: A few years on from our visit, I just recently commended this bäckerei to friends who moved to the region. I realized I never provided a review for what was a life-changing food experience for me. Everything we tried during our stay in town was truly amazing. I maintain that the croissants are the best I have and will ever eat, and yes, I’ve had Parisian croissants. Nice but not quite. We truly enjoyed our stay in town but Bäckerei Schuster would be reason enough for me to visit Italy again.

25/09/2025: We stayed just one night for two of us and our dog. Everything was truly perfect: the welcome, the cleanliness, the delicious dinner with excellent service. Everyone was extremely kind and courteous.

22/09/2025: We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Latemar. The hotel's management is characterized by professionalism, warmth, and a clear commitment to guest satisfaction. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and always keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The food was an absolute highlight. The kitchen offers a creative selection of regional specialties and high-quality ingredients. Every meal was lovingly prepared, delicious, and varied. The wellness area is modern, clean, and well-equipped. We particularly enjoyed the spacious sauna, relaxed ambiance, and quiet areas for relaxation. It was an ideal oasis after a day full of activities in the surrounding mountains. The team was always on hand to provide helpfulness and professional support. A first-class place for relaxation, excellent food, and first-class service. We highly recommend the Hotel Latemar and would gladly return.

12/10/2025: A superb guesthouse in an excellent location for hiking or motorcycling. Fantastic views of the mountains from the balcony or bedroom. Very quiet at night, with no light pollution. The dinner is fantastic, with three courses. You'll receive hiking and motorbike tour suggestions, as well as the history of the Koflhof. You feel like part of the family. We'd love to come back.

22/09/2025: We were able to spend a night with our camper van with the lovely family at the Koflhof. The Koflhof offers a wonderful atmosphere with lively animals, a lovingly tended garden, and beautiful pitches. The highlight was the three-course dinner – prepared with lots of love and experience :-) We felt very comfortable!

17/01/2026: Absolutely world class bread, right here in Merano! The skill and dedication of the baker is clearly evident from the moment you walk in and as such, the offerings here are as good as anywhere in the world. It's only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and it sells out quick so get there early. Or better still, order everything online via the website and then you can relax and just pick up. Thank you to the master craftsman behind the operation. Highly recommended!

19/09/2025: We ate there on a Sunday for lunch, it was truly excellent, with delicious dumplings. Friendly service, and the owners were very friendly and kind. Fair prices. The dining room is very beautiful and traditional, and the restaurant/hotel is located in the town square, so we found parking easily. Thank you 🌷

30/08/2025: The Gapphof is simply unique! Dogs and their owners are absolutely welcome here. There's absolutely nothing missing (a few dog hooks for leashes or hooks for dog towels might be useful, but they're not absolutely necessary). I can largely agree with the previous reviews and refrain from publicly praising it too much, so I'll be able to spontaneously book a vacation apartment like this in the future. We'll definitely be back, and not just once. Thank you so much for the truly wonderful stay we were able to spend with you. We really appreciated that we were able to enjoy your wonderful breakfast on the balcony or veranda back in March.

08/07/2025: We stayed at the Granny Apartment for ten days at the end of June 2025. A cozy, well-equipped apartment, well-maintained grounds, and warm service are important to us on our vacation. It couldn't have been better!

17/02/2026: We had brunch at the Ansitz and then, two months later, ordered the brunch boxes again for pickup! If I could, I would give them 10 stars!!! Super delicious, high-quality products! 05/12/2025: An absolutely fantastic place. Everything is perfect here. I probably shouldn't write such a glowing review, since I'll definitely be going back again and again, and that would be a shame. But the owners truly deserve it. Even our dachshund's favorite frisbee was still available after four days because it had been reserved. A real treat! For us and for the dog.

17/10/2025: This is what a Buschenschank (wine tavern) should be like. Delicious, down-to-earth, and rustic ambiance with a magnificent view of Merano. And above all, friendly people and fair prices! Stay here. A great break right on the Waalweg (Waal Path), which, by the way, is a lovely walk! Thank you very much!
