27/01/2026: One of the most beautiful and delicious spots in South Tyrol. "Holiday with friends" isn't just a slogan here, it's a way of life. You feel so welcome, and the food is cooked with love. Everything is homemade – juices, wine, speck... and you can taste it. Sometimes musicians come up from Kaltern, which makes it a bit louder, but always more fun.

28/02/2026: Highly recommend! Especially on Fridays, when they offer a seafood menu. They use top-quality products, especially the freshest ingredients, which are cooked to perfection. The restaurant isn't particularly large, but it's very welcoming. The service is quick and attentive to your needs. There's free parking nearby, which is great for a city like Merano, where parking is usually difficult. If I had to offer constructive criticism, the only one I can think of is the pepper on the lobster linguine; it may have masked the flavor a bit. Otherwise, everything was perfect! The prices are more than fair. I'll definitely be back.

16/12/2025: We travel from Germany to Tramin three or four times a year, and on our first evening we almost always go to the Bürgerstube restaurant because of their excellent pizza. However, their other dishes and varied daily menu are also highly recommended. The second reason we enjoy eating at the Bürgerstube is the exceptionally friendly staff.

16/11/2025: A cozy wine tavern in a fantastic location with excellent food and drinks. A must for us on every visit to South Tyrol. The attentive and friendly service is also noteworthy.
13/11/2025: A very nice place; I was invited to a Törggelen (traditional South Tyrolean autumn feast) today. The service was very friendly and quick. I had chestnut dumplings with venison ragout, followed by several dishes from the Schlachtplatte (a mixed meat platter), including sauerkraut, blood sausage, and more. All the food was excellent and delicious, and to top it all off, the landlady was treated to a round of schnapps. A lovely place to visit! 👍

The professional and welcoming staff, along with the owners' attention to detail, are always available and extremely kind, making our holidays here unforgettable. We've found "our refuge" to always live up to our expectations.
09/12/2025: I had a pleasant weekend. I must compliment the entire staff for their care and attention to guests. The restaurant is excellent for both breakfast and dinner, and the spa is very well-maintained, although a bit small.

04/11/2025: Very nice and well-kept place, with a few parking spaces available. Good food and decent service, perhaps a tablecloth wouldn't hurt. The menu isn't very extensive—just a few dishes, let's say, but they're good. Prices are a bit higher than usual, not really justified by the service or anything else. Still, a nice place!

19/03/2026: Nice location, clean and pleasant atmosphere. The pizzas aren't the best, and the sandwiches aren't the best. The real problem is the service: rushed, hectic, and rude. The dessert menu is lacking. Prices are average.
17/02/2026: The colleague from the restaurant was unfortunately very unfriendly. The people at reception, on the other hand, were really nice.
