18/08/2024: Pure relaxation! We've been going to Gloriette regularly for a few years now and can say that the quality has gotten even better. The fine cuisine in particular is mega. Top! It's a shame that you can only give 5 stars. 🤷‍♂️

25/08/2024: Im Pircher gibt es eine supergute Pizza, immer frisch aus dem Holzofen. Der Service ist immer freundlich und schnell. Neben Pizza gibt es auch ein paar Nudelgericht und eine gute Auswahl an Getränken. Und alles mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

03/08/2024: Super tasty and technically high-quality and sophisticated food in front of a great mountain panorama in a colorful garden. The way up takes a bit of getting used to because of the narrow street, but you'll be rewarded with a fantastic view at the destination. Since we didn't stay in the hotel, we can't comment on the rooms.

26/08/2024: A very warm and comfortable location, soft environment and lights, welcoming with warm notes, very attentive and welcoming staff with a unique kindness, let's move on to the dishes I took a variety of meats 12 types of meats to be cooked directly on the stone which they provide you at table, together with the grilled side dishes, everything is truly delicious, an experience that I recommend trying, craft beer on tap and homemade juniper grappa, highly recommended

25/08/2024: An excellent place, renovated a few years ago and therefore very beautiful also aesthetically. Interesting menu with the possibility of choosing either personal cooking on a lava plate brought directly to the table or cooking on the grill, furthermore there is a wide variety of cuts and types of meat to choose from, including very particular ones such as kangaroo. Very kind and professional staff. I highly recommend making a reservation because it is a very popular place and it is not easy to find a seat. The restaurant has some reserved parking spaces right in front, otherwise there are public parking spaces on the road just ahead The only downside for which I give 4 stars and not 5 are the prices, which in my opinion are a little high compared to the average of other similar places.

22/08/2024: Exquisite, well-finished and refined food, very well-kept place and splendid view... I was hoping to eat the pan but was disappointed twice, it wasn't there. The only flaw is that the prices are a bit high for a mountain hut, if they were a bit lower we would go more often.

22/08/2024: I had lunch the day before yesterday with my wife and son. We both have to eat gluten-free foods and here we found an excellent answer to our needs. My son's gluten-free Margherita pizza was really delicious, soft, well cooked and very rich, perhaps the best I've tried so far. The gluten-free spaghetti with Bolognese ragout that I ate was excellent, a very generous portion with a truly excellent sauce, absolutely one of the best I have ever eaten. My wife's normal Margherita pizza was also very good. Very kind and friendly owners, place with very clean facilities and very close to the center of Merano. Really honest price and I highlight that it is really rare to find a place like this one that offers the gluten-free option for any food offered. My opinion is excellent, I wholeheartedly recommend it and when I return to splendid Merano I will not fail to visit it again.

05/08/2024: Senn am Egg never disappoint us. Michel and his team are very creative and competent. Insider tip: they grill ribs and chicken for dinner in the evening for a few months ending around mid September, but he suggests you make a reservation because it’s super popular. Enjoy!

24/08/2024: I would never have thought that such a beautiful place existed. You think you're in paradise! A stunning view, a mild breeze, then the smell of freshly prepared food. Do you know the land where the lemons bloom? It has to be here, here the grapefruits weighing pounds hang on the branches, this is where every earthly hunger and thirst is satisfied. The nice innkeepers, the friendly waitresses, here you are human, you will like to come here again and again. Keep it up!

19/07/2024: The climb to the hut is strenuous for inexperienced people, you should plan about 3 hours here, the incredible views on the way and at the hut are unbelievable. The staff is super friendly, the Kaiserschmarn and the beer are highly recommended. The dumpling soup was simply great.

15/07/2024: We stopped here last week literally to seek refuge from a storm with rain and strong winds. The place is tiny, just a few tables and thankfully our group of 7 got one. The food was excellent, the staff super helpful. Very isolated and off the grid, but if you are hiking in the area and need refreshmnet, definitely stop! Take a look at the menu to learn the story and see the pictures of how they are supplied. Why don't we have these places in the States?

10/08/2024: Can't we add another 5 stars to the review? Had a lunch break after a tough climb and after seeing the splendid Pyramids of Terra di Perca... As for me, I had a really good venison carpaccio (I'm sorry for him), excellent paired with rocket, parmesan flakes, mushrooms in oil and a very strong sauce of horseradish and cranberries, very good, then I had a nice portion of ricotta strudel which was also truly exceptional and to drink I took the mountain pine juice made by them, it was so good and thirst-quenching that I drank two nice glasses of it, a delicate taste, not too sweet, very particular and thirst-quenching above all, it seems to have the forest in the glass because it is also fragrant... But 5 stars are not enough, we would like at least 5 more more... Place enchanting at 1985 m above sea level, really worth the effort on foot, priceless panorama... Top Top Top!!! Compliments!!!

23/08/2024: Coffee isolated at the attack to the pyramids of Percha. Welcomed by the very kind staff we tried a trio of cakes among the many they have available. Very pleasant stop.

13/08/2024: Beautiful refuge reachable with a medium difficulty trek lasting approximately 3 hours starting from Lake Neves below. We were there in July and there were still large tongues of snow to cross to get to the refuge, so a steady step and a little attention is required. Excellent cuisine and very friendly staff. Super!

11/08/2024: I guess we don't need our review to say how beautiful this place is, but we want to thank the guys and offer our compliments. The place is gorgeous and can be reached with a simple and fun walk, the view is stunning and the atmosphere is wonderful. The refuge is new, well looked after and there is a fountain upon arrival; it has many seats inside and outside and there is not much confusion (despite it being August); the guys are kind and helpful and the quality of the dishes is very high. We ordered a platter (crazy and very rich) and some excellent ribs, among the best I've ever eaten. Their bitters are good, but I think that regarding this last point they can do something even better and local. Thanks again, everything was wonderful!

26/08/2024: We hiked from the mountain station of the Texelbahn to the waterfall and had already eaten something on the way - unfortunately! We didn't know what culinary delights the inn at the waterfall had to offer. Not only did the food look excellent, but the conversations of the guests at the neighboring tables were full of praise and enthusiasm about the quality and taste of the food. We were really impressed. Although we were already full, we didn't want to miss out on the highly praised delicacies and tried the stirred cream ice cream "Bresküi", which was unknown to us. What we were then able to enjoy was simply magnificent. I ordered the cafe ice cream with espresso, my husband chose the pistachio ice cream. This ice cream was no ordinary dessert - it was a real treat. When it melted gently on the tongue and combined with the warm espresso to form a harmonious interplay of cold and warmth, it was a true feast for the senses. As an ice cream lover who tastes ice cream all over the world, Bresküi really enchanted me. A big thank you to the friendly team at the Gasthaus am Wasserfall, who served us this wonderful experience so warmly and lovingly!
