One of my favorite farms around Verdins and Schenna. Fantastic views over Merano and Tirolo. Local specialties, very well and freshly prepared. This farm is a little gem.

June 22, 2026 Super farm 😍 We managed to visit this lovely farm again. They still have their delicious dumplings here – including nettle dumplings 🤩! Beautiful view and very cozy. 2019 We just wanted to stop by... from Schenna... it's not far... but about 400 meters higher up... better reached on foot via a hike... the climb was quite strenuous for us 🙃 Very nice farm restaurant... small selection... delicious and homemade. Great location with a view... a superb view of the Passeier Valley and Schenna. Highly recommended for a break.

A real hidden gem, outstanding food! You can truly taste the craftsmanship and top-notch quality of the ingredients! Prices are perfectly reasonable for such excellent food. From the outside, you'd never guess there's a restaurant here. South Tyrol at its finest.

A place to return to: breathtakingly beautiful location, genuinely delicious and superb cuisine, and very pleasant and friendly service. The consistently high quality is particularly impressive – on every visit. Always worth a trip!

Delicious. Goulash with bacon dumplings, and I chose a dandelion salad on the side. 10/10 The spritzers with their own homemade juice were also delicious. We've been there three times in one week now, and we'll be back. Thank you so much! ❣️

21/07/2026: We came in midst of cycling from Merano. It is a hidden oasis of super great delicious Italian food with South Tyrollean hospitality. The best food I’ve had so far in the Meran area.

Hotel Schlosswirt Restaurant

24/06/2026: We had one of the most wonderful holidays at this hotel. My highest praise goes to this amazing team. Everyone helps each other, you can feel the great atmosphere and sense of community. The food was simply divine. A big shout-out to this fantastic, unique, and varied cuisine! The terrace and garden are beautifully designed. The two pools and the spa area are perfect for relaxing in the heat. And the view shows just how beautiful this region is. Buses depart directly from the main square, so you don't really need a car to get to Merano and Bolzano, or to go on various hikes. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
29/05/2026: We were very satisfied with our stay. The hosts were very friendly, the food and staff were excellent, and the view was fantastic. The new terrace with its awning made breakfast and dinner possible. We would gladly come back.
