14/04/2026: Having been in Italy for several days, and after thoroughly enjoying Italian food, I craved something familiar. Walking through Florence, I stumbled upon this restaurant offering Mexican dishes, which immediately caught my eye, especially given the numerous references to Mexico and Tijuana, my hometown. The place is eye-catching and has a great atmosphere; everything screams Mexico, creating high expectations from the start. I decided to go in with my family and order several dishes I know well, such as queso fundido, nachos, and tacos. From the outset, the food experience was disappointing. The queso fundido lacked consistency and didn't taste right. The nachos were poorly made, with mismatched ingredients and an inappropriate type of cheese. But the most critical issue was the tacos. The tortillas were cold, a basic mistake. I mentioned this to the staff, hoping they would remake them properly. However, the dish returned far too quickly, and upon tasting it, the texture of the ingredients had completely changed. The guacamole, in particular, had clearly been reheated, something that happens when it's microwaved or oven-baked, which completely ruins this type of preparation. This ultimately spoiled the entire experience, because a taco depends on the right temperature and fresh ingredients, not reheated ones. I understand that Mexican food outside of Mexico can be adapted, but here the problem isn't the adaptation, but rather the very poor execution. Furthermore, I believe the restaurant's advertising is misleading, as they project a very strong image of authentic Mexican food, when in reality the dishes don't even come close to what Mexican food truly is. As a Mexican, and specifically from Tijuana, I can say that this does not represent our cuisine. Personally, I don't recommend it if you're looking for real or well-prepared Mexican food.

09/02/2026: A place from another era, the dining room certainly isn't the most modern, but inside you can feel the spartan, timeless charm of bold Tuscany. Homemade, fresh dishes, made with top-quality ingredients, and truly affordable prices. As it is, it's a classic trattoria that always proves to be a sure thing, far from those places that turn out to be tourist traps. A family-run local restaurant. Their Cinta Senese ragù with pinci is unparalleled: a spectacle! Dishes are paired with local wines, usually from the Fanti winery. The view from the dining room is spectacular.

06/01/2026: We were lucky enough to find a spot on the veranda, which was definitely better than the dining room at the entrance. The waitress was very kind and helpful, even though she was alone that day, and as soon as a few more people arrived, service began to slow down considerably. The house antipasto is absolutely worth it; the bruschetta was one better than the last! As for the Pinci, however, we were disappointed both by the pasta (overcooked) and by the sauce for the pinci with ragù, which was delicious, but we weren't thrilled with the fact that it was "supported" by the white pasta. The house wine was good! Overall, it's a place I recommend for its value!

07/04/2026: A typical Tuscan restaurant that focuses on tradition. The menu is classic local fare, with easily recognizable dishes. We tried gnocchi alla rosticciana and ravioli mugellani al ragù, both well-seasoned with rich, flavorful sauces. The fresh pasta is a plus, and the dishes are quite generous. The appetizer of Tuscan crostini is also good, simple but in keeping with the restaurant's style. Overall, it's a very good place, ideal if you're looking for authentic Tuscan cuisine. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.

28/03/2026: I recently moved to Florence for work, and last Saturday I had the opportunity to try this amazing restaurant, which I've been following for a while, along with two colleagues and friends. I called from Florence airport at 12:15 asking for a table for lunch, and a kind lady, who I later discovered was Paolo's daughter, gave me the wonderful news that a table had become available. I immediately got into the car, still in uniform, and just had time to arrive at the restaurant, where we were greeted with kindness and friendliness and seated. We ate and drank like a 10 in a beautiful place that I immediately elected as my favorite safe haven. Believe me, it's worth the trip. I thank all the staff again and bid farewell to Paolo, who, with great kindness and helpfulness, gave me his number at the end of lunch, which, if anything, will make my safe and frequent future visits even easier. 26/03/2026: We went with a reservation on a weekday, and despite the restaurant being full, the staff was quick and attentive. The restaurant is rundown, despite some renovations. However, the strong point is the food, with excellent quality products. The ingredients are truly excellent, from the vegetables to the meat. During dinner, we had Tullio's mixed antipasto, which I highly recommend, especially for the fried sage, the fried steak, and the dessert. The steak was fried to perfection with a light, crispy coating. It was accompanied by various flavored salts that enhance the flavor of the meat. Truly the house specialty! The homemade desserts are good, but it depends on the dessert. The best, in my opinion, is the blackberry and chocolate tart.

04/04/2026: Excellent snack bar in Siena where you can find gluten-free dishes, both sweet and savory. The croissants are fantastic—hard to find this good anywhere else! The staff is friendly and welcoming...in short, perfect for breakfast or lunch. We'll be back!

25/03/2026: Definitely the best wine bar and café we've had the chance to try in Siena. The professionalism, courtesy, kindness, and smiles are hallmarks of the staff, including Gennaro, the undisputed mastermind of the place. I'll be back very soon. 22/03/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience. I was encouraged by the positive reviews to try this restaurant for lunch, even without a reservation and knowing I might have to wait or not get a seat. I arrived at 1:45 PM and politely requested a table for two, either inside or outside. I was told to wait while they checked availability, which I readily accepted, as I wasn't in a rush. After a few minutes, I informed another waitress of my request again, but received no update. Meanwhile, several customers with reservations were seated, which is completely understandable. However, three local women arrived without reservations and were seated before me; the same happened shortly afterward to another couple, also without reservations, but who were acquaintances of the restaurant. After about 25 minutes of standing, and seeing people in my situation being served first, I decided to leave. I had the feeling that, without being regulars or "locals," you're being left behind. A treatment that I found unwelcoming and unprofessional.

20/01/2026: Osteria 101 is a welcoming, characterful place. It offers traditional dishes enhanced with a personal flair that's so effective that they become innovative, simply and effortlessly. I had the cabbage soup, the beef stew with apples, and the paprika chicken. Each dish had an authentic flavor, reminiscent of old family recipes, but with a touch of professional flair. The restaurant is run by young people with a strong desire to do things right. And they succeed with flying colors.

Gli Attirtellati is a very famous restaurant that serves rustic cuisine but uses excellent local ingredients. I'm not a big fan of quantity versus quality, so I wasn't entirely satisfied, given that it was August 15th and there was a set menu, and in my opinion, it was too much food! Everything was very good, so I'd recommend it.
