06/05/2026: Visited for a wedding reception. It's certainly a curious place of considerable historical interest. Home to the monks whose hydraulic works reclaimed the surrounding land and made farming possible for centuries. It's also home to the accordion museum.

05/05/2026: We ended up here by chance. We didn't expect much more from it than a place to sleep and have breakfast during our trip to Tuscany. But what a lovely place. The village is nice. The surroundings aren't particularly special, but the hotel is top-notch. Highly recommended.

17/04/2026: Drank a lovely glass of white wine made from the Malvasia Aromatica grape as an aperitif. Great service with good explanations regarding the chosen wine.

29/03/2026: The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The cured meats were delicious, and the glass of local wine was quite generous. The prices were fair; perhaps some things could be better, but overall, I highly recommend the place. The location is definitely central, with a beautiful view of the square and the panorama overlooking the northern part of the village.

03/05/2026: A good address in Piacenza; the menu offers a few dishes, but they're all intriguing. We tried the risotto, which turned out to be a perfect choice both in appearance and taste. The red wine, as always, is the perfect accompaniment, making the food even more delicious. The tiramisu was super excellent. A well-kept and welcoming place, the service was polite and efficient, and the price was fair. Well done, we'll be back.

24/02/2026: It's been a while since I've eaten like this. We went with a group of friends. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the staff was very kind and friendly. The owners, two young guys, were amazing!!! Everything was thought out and prepared with LOVE. Highly recommended. :)

09/05/2026: Nestled in the greenery on the banks of the Po, this well-maintained and rustic location exudes character. Owner Andrea, already on the phone for your reservation, exudes a friendly atmosphere, and after a short chat, you're seated at your table. The young and cheerful staff, including Matteo, is attentive to presenting the restaurant's philosophy without being too intrusive. The classic cuisine of the Po Valley features excellent local cured meats, eaten without cutlery, accompanied by giardiniera (fresh pickled vegetables). The wine (a good Lambrusco) is drunk by the bowl, reminiscent of times gone by. The first and second courses vary daily, but all are excellent. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, with reasonable waiting times, allowing you to enjoy an excellent lunch. The prices are in line with the offerings. I'll definitely be back. I recommend booking.

08/05/2026: My wife and I have had lunch here a few times and have always enjoyed it. It was recommended to us by a local. In the warmer months, we've even eaten outside. Given its location, the cured meats offered are traditional and high-quality, and the dishes are well-cooked and carefully crafted, in keeping with Emilian traditions. For us, it's the place to go when we're in the area, without even thinking twice...

01/06/2026: The quality is decidedly high. Anyone who ventures into Castello di Albereto should know that a first-rate culinary experience awaits them. Despite its refined setting, there were no problems showing up in hiking gear and quite sweaty. The staff was very professional, with attention to detail worthy of the restaurant's high level. The food, however, is, of course, the true heart of the experience. Refined dishes with flavors ranging from exquisite to sublime. There were no problems even bringing our dog; in fact, a bowl of water was brought for him. What can I say... Highly recommended to anyone looking for a higher-level (and more expensive) experience.

09/05/2026: A wonderful lunch with friends in May 2026. Everything we tried was excellent, with cured meats and cheeses of undeniable quality. The highlight was undoubtedly the 130-month-old Parmigiano: an incredible experience tasting a product that's almost 11 years old, with a profound and truly unforgettable flavor. To top it off, we were treated to some truly excellent local liqueurs. Congratulations, keep up the good work, because your passion for your products is truly evident!

09/05/2026: A delicatessen where you can taste the finest local products: from cured meats (prosciutto, Culatello, Spalla Cotta, Felino salami, etc.) to cheeses (especially Parmigiano Reggiano) and all the delicacies of this beautiful part of Italy. Definitely worth a try.

05/05/2026: A beautiful place, rich in history with underground tuff caves that can be visited, where wine, cured meats and cheeses are aged. The food is excellent, as are the service and the decor.

The portions are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is excellent. The menu is carefully curated. For my personal taste, the ravioli was a bit thick, so I didn't give it a full score. I didn't try the pasta dishes, so I'll definitely be back.

16/05/2026: We really enjoyed our experience and the 6-course dinner at Inkiostro. The food was excellent, the staff attentive and professional. We had come without any particular expectation and found the whole experience absolutely worth the money. The surprise for desert was unexpected and very enjoyable. Absolutely recommended!

15/05/2026: We had dinner for two at the Inkiostro restaurant, choosing the six-course Ikigai menu. I'll start by saying that I won't share any photos of the dishes because I believe that discovery and novelty are part of the experience and the menu. That said: - food: nothing to complain about. The dishes the chef proposed were a crescendo, with combinations that seemed unlikely in my mind but which blended perfectly on the palate. I'll have a hard time forgetting the sea urchin with hazelnut cream. - service: the staff were young but knowledgeable, friendly, and (much appreciated) unobtrusive. A real treat. - just one criticism, which isn't meant to be one: I couldn't appreciate the small pastry at the end, not because it wasn't good—quite the opposite—but because by that point in the dinner I'd reached my limit. Well done.

10/05/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance on our way home from Romagna. This trattoria's style is quite unique—I'd call it a bit "Harlequin." What immediately struck us was the owner's kindness as soon as we entered. Browsing the menu, you're spoiled for choice: meat, fish, pasta, main courses, tripe, frogs, snails, and more. We opted for the passatelli with fossa cheese and truffle and the stringhetti with crispy prosciutto and truffle. For the main course, duck breast with vin santo and sultanas. Obviously, as true sweet tooths, a dessert is a must: a couple of mascarpone creams (one chocolate, one with a red fruit topping). Before the bill, the owner gave us a small bottle of homemade arancini; exceptional!! We enjoyed all the dishes. The prices are reasonable for the quality and deliciousness of the dishes served. We are more than satisfied. P.S. Don't bother the rabbit when you go to the bathroom!! We've already taken care of that 😄😄😄
