09/07/2024: The setting is beautiful, the service was excellent, great selection of wine but the food was laking flavor and it feels that the portion control crew went out of their way to give as less food as possible and win the prize for starving the patrons. It was pretty much tree grapes and a pea type meal for the price of T-bone steak. We have no idea why people like it. We ordered few dishes, one of them was red prawn carpaccio and it looked beautiful but was just bland. The “special” sauce spaghetti was ok but was not worth the price. The guinea fowl with potatoes was just ok and had two finger size pieces of meat and a tablespoon of potatoes- no flavor whatsoever, it could have may as well been just regular chicken. The dessert was good but also very small for 15 euros. We had better experiences in the restaurants all over the world, we are foodies and don’t mind to spend our money on excellent food experiences, but that restaurant did not wow us. I wish we would have gone to some mom and pop restaurant around the corner. The picture shows half of the carpaccio- we asked them not to split it but they did, it was paper thin and needed some seasoning.

23/07/2024: En fantastisk restaurang endast ett stenkast (500 m) från tågstationen Bologna centrale. Serverar både frukost hela dagen och öppet lunchtid. Vi fick den godaste pasta bolognese vi någonsin ätit (finns även med vegofärs om så önskas), nybakat bröd och underbart bemötande trots att vi kom med barn och ryggsäckar och önskade lunch lite för tidigt för att hinna med vårt tåg. Rekommenderas verkligen om ni har vägarna förbi Bologna!

23/07/2024: This ice cream is unmissable. Perfect before leaving Italy. Not cheap, but the flavors are definitely good. Especially considering that the alternatives at the airport definitely leave something to be desired...

21/07/2024: Venchi is truly an institution...!!! One of the best ice creams around... definitely top 3 in 75% chocolate and above. I must also say that at Bologna airport they have truly top staff. I often travel from this airport and every time it is a very pleasant experience to have an ice cream from them... (strictly chocoviar...!!!). Like today, where I was "pampered" by these two girls who, like the others obviously..., have once again demonstrated professionalism and courtesy... despite the delirium of people who crowded the airport and the point of sale...: very good them...well done everyone...!!! Thank you Mr. Venchi…😉

06/07/2024: The pizza here is the best I have ever had. My family of 4 ate here for lunch for 38 euros and it was worth all of it. I had the Napoli which I ate super fast and it was really good. It was also very cool to see the chef make pizza like in the video below. Must go to. Highly recommend.

23/06/2024: One of the absolute best “fast-food” restaurants in Bologna. All of the ingredients are very fresh, the taste is amazing. We always grab something when we’re in the area.

18/06/2024: Everything perfect, from the starter to the dessert, including wine (excellent wine list), plus the chef really transmits a true and authentic passion for everything related to catering, we will certainly be back :)

16/06/2024: The restaurant, which we found a bit by accident and located among the picturesque hills south of Bologna, provided us with an unexpectedly great experience. It was not an ordinary visit to a restaurant, it was a personalized experience in direct contact with the chef. We highly recommend it, but you need to make a reservation in advance - only then you will fully experience this place and its great food. We will come back if we are nearby.

25/07/2024: Panino ottimo, mortadella buonissima. Ottimo anche la gestione della fila, prima fai lo scontrino scegliendo cosa vuoi, il personale prepara il tuo panino e poi chiama il tuo numero di scontrino. Così non si crea confusione e calca davanti al bancone.

25/07/2024: Gut organisiert, auch mit dem anstehen vor dem Laden. Nette Mitarbeiter und richtig leckere Paninos/Mortadellabrötchen! Definitv ein to-do in Bologna. Nur gibt es keine sitzmöglichkeiten, aber das ist halt streetfood.

Excellent starters, the tartare "from the cellar" is state of the art. All seasoned with a very refined plating. Cocktails made to perfection, absolutely adequate bill. I absolutely recommend

18/06/2024: One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at, both for the quality of the products and the quality of the service! Limited menu but done to perfection, we had a risotto (exquisite) and tagliolini (equally exquisite) as a first course, for a second course a sea bream and swordfish cooked and cooked to perfection with a tasty but balanced flavour. Precise and super welcoming and helpful service, Mr. Dino is a true host!

22/06/2024: Wonderful dinner in every way! The quality of the raw materials is found in the dishes cooked with talent and competence. The chef and his team are supported by excellent room service. In my opinion one of the best restaurants I have eaten at.
