15/02/2026: Stunning location in a beautiful village, super helpful, friendly, and welcoming staff, fast and excellent service (the water bottle was empty and they brought a new one without asking, which is not a given). The first courses focused primarily on mushrooms and truffles, simply perfect and delicious, the grilled meats were cooked to perfection. We spent €30 per person for three appetizers, two first courses, and a mixed grill.

15/02/2026: A truly enjoyable Sunday lunch for two. We started with an excellent mixed cold and au gratin appetizer, all very fresh and beautifully presented. For our first course, we chose tagliolini with lobster: a generous, flavorful, and perfectly cooked dish. This was followed by a light, crispy, and not at all greasy fritto misto. Fast and friendly service, a modern and elegant venue. We'll definitely be back!

08/03/2026: Please note. This establishment DOES NOT ACCEPT DOGS and IS NOT MARKED on any of the numerous web profiles. We booked, but we didn't worry because we thought we knew all the establishments were pet-friendly these days, and it didn't occur to us to report it (I admit we were wrong, but in 16 years of my career, I've had problems in museums, water parks, and spas, but never in restaurants, and we never even thought about it). We showed up with our 2.8 kg dog, locked in a stroller. We couldn't get in. The manager is completely justified in making this decision, but PLEASE MARK IT in your shop windows! We had chosen you and traveled many miles to get there, choosing to stay at the hotel right next to you for an excellent dinner. What a shame. A real disappointment.

05/03/2026: It was our first time there, and I have to say it was great. The lady who served us was very kind and friendly, and the dishes, from appetizer to dessert, were all delicious and homemade. The prices were average for the quality. We'll definitely be back.

16/02/2026: We stayed at Antica Corte Casa Marini thanks to a Smartbox over Valentine's weekend, along with our dog, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The property is welcoming and well-maintained, and the staff was always kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. The food was also excellent, a pleasant surprise that made our stay even more special. If we have the chance, we'll definitely be back! Thank you for everything!

27/01/2026: A restaurant in the charming setting of a renovated old mill. Authentic atmosphere and plenty of customers, even during weekday lunch. Extremely friendly and competent service, and the staff promptly responds to all guest requests. Traditional cuisine, yet decidedly above average in terms of creativity and attention to ingredients: fresh pasta made with chestnut flour or burnt wheat, duck ragù, braised cheek, guinea fowl, and original desserts like pears in Barolo sauce or apple fritters. The vegetable dishes are particularly popular, with a wide selection of seasonal options—we were truly impressed by the at least five or six side dish options, when you're usually lucky to find a plate of the usual grilled vegetables. Highly recommended!

17/01/2026: If, like me, you're only in Bologna for one night, come to dinner at Vecchia Bottega and fill up on delicious food, excellent wine, and lovely people! Not knowing what to choose, I ventured a request, which was greeted with a smile. I came for the tagliatelle, and then I ordered a platter, two first courses, and dessert. Everything was excellent, like home-made, but even better because the atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. Even though I was alone, I felt like I was part of the whole place. The tiramisu is special. My week of Italian vacation ends beautifully and sweetly!

But most importantly, it offers both meat-based and vegetarian/vegan dishes on the menu. I'd say it's a 10/10!
