A wonderful lunch with friends in May 2026. Everything we tried was excellent, with cured meats and cheeses of undeniable quality. The highlight was undoubtedly the 130-month-old Parmigiano: an incredible experience tasting a product that's almost 11 years old, with a profound and truly unforgettable flavor. To top it off, we were treated to some truly excellent local liqueurs. Congratulations, keep up the good work, because your passion for your products is truly evident!

A delicatessen where you can taste the finest local products: from cured meats (prosciutto, Culatello, Spalla Cotta, Felino salami, etc.) to cheeses (especially Parmigiano Reggiano) and all the delicacies of this beautiful part of Italy. Definitely worth a try.

we were directed to this store by the very friendly people of Salumficio La Torre and it was really great. We tasted several different hams and got detailed explanations about the region, the production and the differences of the offered products. The support was full of passion and very precise, even when we chose more expensive products we were guided to those that were closer to our taste (and cheaper). No, their English is not great, but much better than our Italian and we were able to understand everything. No, they are not fast, but this is a Degustation and not a Formula One race. Patience is a virtue and there was enough to see in the meantime. The prices for the degustation are cleary shown and I can’t understand all the posts that complain about it. Not a single item without clear information on product, date, kilo price and final price. Happy to shop there again, really high quality products.

The prices are certainly not cheap, but they're adequate for the products served. The cured meats are, of course, above par, but the desserts, all homemade, are also out of this world. The owners are extremely helpful and a source of countless information and curiosities about the area and its products; furthermore, the place is completely pet-friendly, including medium-large dogs like mine (38 and 45 kg!!). In fact, if they're well-behaved, you might even get a tasty treat... It's definitely worth a visit.

I can only give 5 stars, but I really want to give as many as I can lol😆 We're tourists so we can't come very often, but we definitely want to come someday!! The tote bag and hat are so cute👒😍💕 I love how kind Ham and the staff are‼️ We even got to take a picture together at the end!

I had the opportunity to try the delicious platter, accompanied by local wine. Excellent products and excellent service. The owners answered our questions courteously and kindly, explaining the local products. Thank you for the interesting information. We also purchased vacuum-packed cheeses and other local products. The price was fair.

Lunch at the delicatessen before a stroll along the art trail. We tried the crudo, culatello, and culaccia. Excellent food, accompanied by even better service. The very knowledgeable and friendly staff makes you want to come back. Bravo!

While preparing for my trip to Emilia-Romagna, I watched a documentary series on the region's gastronomy on Arte, which I highly recommend! It's also available on YouTube. On the way back from Ravenna, I stopped in Parma on my way to Liguria, and a detour to Langhirano was a must to discover M. Ugolotti's salumeria, which seemed like a real gem in the documentary! Verdict: it truly is a treasure! You can buy the local products that have made Parma world-famous—the real deal! And above all, taste them, since the shop is also a restaurant. Even upon arrival, the shop is charming; you can tell it's old, yet clean and respectfully renovated. The owners give you a warm welcome; a few words of English are all you need, and they guide you through the selection, which is very much appreciated. A sumptuous culatello, a Parma ham that melts in your mouth... three different aged Parmigiano-Reggiano cheeses to fully appreciate the differences in flavor, and a perfectly paired glass of wine! Simple, raw ingredients, but with a level of quality that's hard to find in France without breaking the bank! You can also enjoy fresh pasta there, which looked delicious, and the famous torta rossa from the report. I even left with the family recipe, along with a few other purchases. Thank you for the warm welcome and thank you for the recipe. I felt a special emotion when Mr. Ugolotti spoke about his memories with his mother. I'll try to make it and send photos if it turns out well! As we say in France, "It's worth the detour!"

A must-visit! Sample excellent small dishes and superb regional wines right in the shop, or simply indulge in some retail therapy (which can quickly escalate – in a good way!) and then enjoy it at home – both are possible. If you dine in, owner Hugo will share fascinating insights about the regional products (especially Parmigiano-Reggiano). It's rare to encounter such a relaxed, friendly, and cheerful host. His passion for the products shines through in the sparkle in his eyes as he explains how he drives over 60 km daily into the mountains to collect the milk for his Parmigiano-Reggiano from rare mountain cows that roam freely, grazing on a variety of herbs. These details are reflected in the final product! Tip: Be sure to try the tortelli selection (especially the pumpkin filling). Simply delicious!

I haven't personally tried them, but my friends were pleasantly surprised by the taste. The gelato was delicious, and the chef was incredibly kind and willing to let you try the flavors if you're unsure. I highly recommend stopping by for some delicious gelato!
