24/05/2025: Locale caratteristico, strapieno oggi, consiglio prenotazione. Personale disponibilissimo e gentilissimo. Antipasti misti cavallo di battaglia, con culatello e spalla cotta, oltre alla famosa torta fritta a valanga. Tris di primi in crescendo. Dolci discreti. Prezzo un po' alto

20/05/2025: Non ero mai stato, impressione positiva, locale tipico, come non se ne trovano quasi più nel parmense, fotografie alle pareti di un'epoca che non c'è più. E' uno dei posti migliori dove mangiare del buon culatello, a mio parere il Re dei salumi. Torta fritta di ottima qualità, altrettanto la giardiniera, discreta carta vini con ricarichi onesti, servizio cortese.

01/05/2025: È una certezza, non sbaglia un colpo. Oggi era tutto buonissimo, ma i fiori di zucca, ripieni con la ricotta che erano super. Claudio, il proprietario, sa fare il suo lavoro con professionalità e competenza. Superconsigliato!!

19/05/2025: Every year we try a starred restaurant and among these Ca' Matilde is perhaps the one that impressed me the most. Sometimes you hear that a chef tries to tell stories with his dishes... well the chef of this restaurant succeeds! Excellent service, the dinner was perfect in every way. We spent two nights in the b&b that I can definitely recommend (excellent quality/price ratio).

28/04/2025: For my birthday I gave myself a special gift: a dinner at Ca' Matilde, a starred restaurant located in the hills of Reggio Emilia. I had already been there a few years ago and going back was like reopening a beautiful memory, but with something more. Chef Andrea Incerti Vezzani's cuisine is a true sensorial experience: elegance, technique and flavor in every dish. ● WHAT I ATE: I chose the seafood menu. A refined journey through aromas and textures, with well-plated dishes, top quality ingredients and balanced combinations. Each course arrived like a little story, to be savored calmly. ● WHAT I DRINK: a Trento DOC Nature, classic method, fresh and perfect to accompany every dish on the menu. ● LOCAL: elegant but not cold, with well-kept spaces. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for enjoying dinner without rushing. ● STAFF: impeccable service, attentive waiters, present at the right time but never intrusive. Professional and friendly, they make the experience even more pleasant. ● PRICE: in line with a starred restaurant and the experience offered. A gift worth giving. ● TIP: if you are looking for a truly special dinner in a relaxed and refined setting, this is the right place. Book in advance, especially on weekends or for special occasions.

02/06/2025: We had dinner last night with my husband and 4 year old son. Nice but not too formal atmosphere with tables also on the sand facing the sea, kind and friendly staff. I expected more from the food .. good but nothing exceptional and for what we spent I hoped for better. Certainly quite abundant dishes with the portions but my strozzapreti were tasteless despite the truffle and the sea bass.

01/05/2025: Choice between various types of grilled meat menus and different prices. We ate very well, the meat was very good, the staff was helpful and friendly. We woke up full (but not heavy) and satisfied. Ready to continue our trip among the castles in the area. Would I go back? Of course YES

08/06/2025: Two of us ate at the restaurant in the evening. We had oysters as a starter, which were excellent. For our second starter, a house platter with fish wasn't my cup of tea, but it was very disappointing. Afterwards, we had lamb and some pork ribs. The lamb tasted absolutely like lamb, and the pork ribs were very fatty, and there wasn't even a side dish. Very disappointing, and for €130, I wouldn't recommend it. The oysters and Prosecco were excellent.

08/06/2025: A restaurant that stands out clearly from its surroundings. The stylish decor creates a pleasant atmosphere, and the cuisine is of the highest quality. In addition to the outstanding food, which is anything but run-of-the-mill, the menu also offers matching wine pairings. The opening, with a delicious amuse-bouche, is particularly impressive, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The service is very attentive but never intrusive. If you would like to take a short break between courses, this will be happily accommodated. We have already been to various three-star restaurants around the world and can say that this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

18/05/2025: Siamo stati a cena durante il periodo di Pasqua. Abbiamo preso un primo fuori menu e il cameriere ci ha invitato vivamente a prendere anche un branzino da dividere in due. Quello che però ci ha fregati è stato il fatto che lui ci ha portato il branzino senza prima averci detto il peso, e senza magari dirci che dopo un primo sarebbe stato anche troppo, ma anzi invitandoci a prenderlo. Un branzino che in quattro persone, dopo aver mangiato un primo, ci mangiano bene…il problema è che noi eravamo in 2! Si mangerebbe molto bene, ma pretendo che il cameriere spieghi tutto, consigli sulla base dei piatti ordinati e sulla base del numero di persone che ha di fronte. Non penso ritorneremo

20/05/2025: It's been years since I returned to this restaurant where I remembered the excellent quality and still acceptable prices I hope it's a suggestion not a criticism but all the dishes I tasted were flavorless (mushroom crepes - truffle gnocchi and the second course of potatoes and porcini mushrooms) the service is fast and the prices are always honest

20/05/2025: The welcome is always pleasant, with an excellent and varied choice of dishes for both first and second courses. Good variety of desserts. Absolutely worth trying!
