Visited for a wedding reception. It's certainly a curious place of considerable historical interest. Home to the monks whose hydraulic works reclaimed the surrounding land and made farming possible for centuries. It's also home to the accordion museum.

We ended up here by chance. We didn't expect much more from it than a place to sleep and have breakfast during our trip to Tuscany.
But what a lovely place. The village is nice. The surroundings aren't particularly special, but the hotel is top-notch. Highly recommended.

The hotel is a bit old but well-organized and clean!
The staff are very friendly!
The restaurant is also very good, excellent food, from the main course to the dessert!

I was alone at the restaurant and was served very well. The place was quite formal, but just right. The young men who served us were kind and never intrusive. The dishes were delicious... nothing to complain about, except for the snails, which, personally, I didn't find particularly tasty.

I discovered this place through a Wonderbox I was given. A very beautiful, unusual structure, considering it's an abbey. Attentive service, very kind and helpful staff. It was a wonderful discovery, we'll be happy to return. The rooms are quiet and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade tarts. Everything was wonderful... thank you 🤩🤩🤩
