Beautiful outdoor location in the Po floodplain. The food is like it used to be: cured meat with micca eaten with your hands, Fortanina in the bowl that leaves a scent, fantastic staff always ready with a joke... in a word: Fantastic!!!

We stumbled upon it by chance. In short, little elegance, lots of substance. Excellent food, very kind and helpful staff. The owner is down-to-earth and very friendly. The cured meats are eaten with your hands, and the wine is drunk from ceramic bowls. A casual place that maintains the traditions of the past. Highly recommended.

Nestled in the greenery on the banks of the Po, this well-maintained and rustic location exudes character. Owner Andrea, already on the phone for your reservation, exudes a friendly atmosphere, and after a short chat, you're seated at your table. The young and cheerful staff, including Matteo, is attentive to presenting the restaurant's philosophy without being too intrusive. The classic cuisine of the Po Valley features excellent local cured meats, eaten without cutlery, accompanied by giardiniera (fresh pickled vegetables). The wine (a good Lambrusco) is drunk by the bowl, reminiscent of times gone by. The first and second courses vary daily, but all are excellent. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, with reasonable waiting times, allowing you to enjoy an excellent lunch. The prices are in line with the offerings. I'll definitely be back. I recommend booking.

My wife and I have had lunch here a few times and have always enjoyed it. It was recommended to us by a local. In the warmer months, we've even eaten outside. Given its location, the cured meats offered are traditional and high-quality, and the dishes are well-cooked and carefully crafted, in keeping with Emilian traditions. For us, it's the place to go when we're in the area, without even thinking twice...

A "still" place, and that's its strength: excellent quality cured meats to eat with your hands, three first courses (I had some fantastic herb sweets, but the tagliolini with culatello was also worth a try) and three second courses (masterfully cooked ribs above all else). Two desserts and some interesting spirits. A few wines (I had a Lambrusco Mantovano, perfect pairing), but all of them fit the menu. Well done, hang in there!

You can clearly see he loves his job, which is something rare and precious these days. When you work with passion, everything truly takes on a different flavor!
