15/12/2025: I've known La Dolcetteria since the first moment I discovered I was celiac, and I'm truly grateful to have such a place so close to me. Over the years, they've created some truly amazing desserts, which truly make you forget they're gluten-free and undoubtedly achieve the flavor and goodness of the best gluten-free desserts. Every time I stop by, it's a true delight, whether it's for the pastries and cakes or something more complex like birthday cakes, panettone, or various baked goods. Their homemade pasta, or that made by their collaborators, is also incredible. It's always a pleasure to return to La Dolcetteria! Thank you for making being celiac more enjoyable 🤗

03/11/2025: A remarkable experience in a beautiful location. Despite its large size and large seating capacity, the restaurant, even though it's called a trattoria, stands out for its elegance, impeccable service, and high-quality restaurant prices. We appreciated the attention to detail and the appropriate timing for a holiday lunch. Upon entering, you're struck by the immense open kitchen, bustling with chefs and hard-working staff. Continuing, you enter one of two beautiful dining rooms, with tables spaced just the right distance apart for comfort. The menu, while not extensive, focuses on traditional meat and freshwater fish dishes. Since it was our first visit, it was difficult to choose, as all the dishes were tempting and we wanted to try everything. We opted for meat dishes, promising to return to try the fish menu. Although we imagined the cured meats would be exceptional, we chose the guinea fowl salad with mustard, red apple, currants, and hazelnuts. A perfect choice: the sweetness of the meat paired perfectly with the acidity of the apple and currant, while the hazelnuts added the missing crunch. The helpfulness and kindness of the staff allowed us to enjoy a second course of first courses: the classic pisarei e fasò, here enhanced with sausage, and an excellent maccheroncino al torchio with porcini mushrooms, chanterelles, and pumpkin cream. While we played it safe with the pisarei, with the maccheroncini we were impressed by the deliciousness of the pasta al torchio, its perfect texture and chew, as well as the intense flavors of these autumn fruits. An elegant and delicious dish at the same time. The second course did not disappoint either: baked goose leg with potatoes. We were told that the geese come from a farm in Mortara, where the animals are fed only grain in the wild. I don't remember ever tasting such tender, juicy, and flavorful poultry. Like all main courses, this dish is expensive, but the quality of the ingredients fully justified it. The desserts also deserve a mention: we enjoyed a very good three-flavor tiramisu. Lunch was accompanied by a Gutturnio superiore from the La Tosa winery; the wine list is rich with excellent wines, including from outside the region. In conclusion, a lunch at the Cattivelli family is worth the trip, perhaps even in warmer weather to enjoy the beautiful summer terrace. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, and the service is attentive and friendly. The price is substantial, but the quality and service fully justify it.

07/12/2025: I ordered a tub of ice cream, and after weighing it at least four times, she gave it to me for less than I paid for it. I think it cost her more in time and line than in the actual ice cream. It's a shame, the ice cream would be good.

02/11/2025: Dinner with friends. We wanted to share the pleasure of this little gem with our friends, because we knew we'd make a great impression. And so it was. When you want to eat well, feel good, and taste the specialties of Puglia, Ambasciata is a surefire choice. Highly recommended. Hugs!

I was treated with such kindness, so it was only right to leave a review. I hope to have lunch at this restaurant one day.

08/09/2025: I went to this restaurant and wine bar for a wine tasting, and everything was perfect and lived up to expectations. The wines offered are produced in their own cellar and are all excellent. The location offers a spectacular view and a breathtaking sunset. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and knows how to offer excellent advice. I'll be back!

The staff is kind, friendly, and smiling, and the service is surprisingly prompt. The ingredients are fresh and authentic, and the presentation is clean and elegant. In short, nothing is left to chance. When we're passing through Ozzano again, we'll be back. Highly recommended!

15/12/2025: The place is very bright, clean, and well-organized. The waiters are very kind and helpful. The pizza is very good, and they offer various specialties. The fried foods are also delicious. Generous portions. The only flaw: you eat in a hurry. We ordered French fries with bacon and provolone cheese and four pizzas, which arrived within minutes at the same time. To avoid letting anything get cold, we ate quickly. It would have been better to eat the fries first, then slowly enjoy the pizza, which, unfortunately, we couldn't finish in such a rush. They also offer various Neapolitan desserts, such as graffe and pastiera. Another small flaw: it's a bit expensive: for 2 fries, 4 pizzas, 3 desserts, and a bottle of Coke, we spent a whopping €80.
