I must say that lately, despite a certain "tourist pressure," the restaurant has retained much of its authenticity.
I would still recommend it, also for its reasonable quality-price ratio.
The cured meats are excessive, the gnocchi excellent, and the parmesan selections are very pleasant and of excellent quality.
The pasta is excellent.
The location, especially on the lower floors, is almost unique and undoubtedly worth a visit.
The staff is professional and very polite.
Congratulations to everyone.
I will definitely be back.

Traditional menu and location, ideal for those seeking the authenticity of the Parma hills. The dishes are all delicious and tasty. Quality ingredients, starting with the cured meats for the appetizers, moving on to the tortelli fillings, sauces, and meats.
Fast, friendly, welcoming, and warm service.
A management note I really appreciate: DOGS STAY AT HOME.
The restaurant doesn't allow dogs, it's clearly stated, and the decision is absolutely correct—it doesn't even need explaining.

03/05/2026: The cold cuts and torta fritta were divine, as was the assortment of tortelli. The off-menu fennel tortelli and the eggplant and prosciutto roll were especially fabulous. We had a wonderful time, and we hope to return soon!

23/05/2026: The menu is already quite extensive, complemented by some very interesting "off-menu" options. My wife and I found the dishes we enjoyed today to be truly excellent. We've also been to "Le Viole" on other occasions with complete satisfaction.
The owner has been managing the dining room for years, while her husband (we glimpsed) runs the kitchen.
We also appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of the table service staff.
In the summer, we love the welcoming and cool outdoor seating.

13/06/2026: Despite good-quality ingredients (not exclusive), the prices are exorbitant, considering the portions, bordering on offensive.
The atmosphere is clean and well-kept, and the service is good (although a few requests were missed, despite the restaurant being half-empty).
I will never return, even if I could find the same (or even better) quality, but with portions made with respect for the customers' money, who, here, pay a lot for a few samples.
My money deserves more respect.
13/06/2026: Good food, nothing to complain about, but the portions were meager. The tagliatelle were excellent, but I usually use the portion they gave us to see if the pasta was cooked. The waiters were friendly, and the prices, in my opinion, were insane for the portions. The quality/quantity ratio wasn't good in my opinion. I recommend it, if you have a lot of money, want to eat well, and aren't very hungry.

30/04/2026: A well-maintained restaurant with an incredible menu. Both the tagliolini with culatello and the shrimp ravioli with scamorza were more than appreciated, absolutely delicious.
The staff was also very kind in recommending a local wine for our lunch, and the extra virgin olive oil tasting at the beginning of the meal was also excellent. The waitress was super nice with us.
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Parma.

13/02/2026: I was here for lunch on my way back from a business trip. Eating at a service station in Emilia is definitely out of the question. Given its proximity to the highway, I chose Osteria il Norcino.
I had the tagliolini with meat sauce and the tartare (there was a really wide selection of meats, with premium cuts, but when I hear the word tartare, I don't understand anything). Both were wonderful and delicious.
The staff was extremely friendly and professional. Definitely my favorites.

24/05/2026: I've been wanting to eat at this restaurant for a while now, based on the photos I'd seen on social media, and I finally made it. It was worth it, first and foremost for the kindness and wonderful friendliness of both the owner and the entire staff. The place is truly beautiful, well-kept, and clean. There's a main dining room with a terrace, but there are also some lovely indoor dining rooms. The menu is truly comprehensive, catering to both vegetarians and meat-eaters, and everything is delicious. The desserts are spectacular; I wanted to try their gelato, and it was a delight, but the rest of the food was tempting, too.
Totally satisfied, I'll be back with friends because it's worth it.

13/06/2026: A restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and welcoming and very kind staff... we ate very well.
10/06/2026: It was really only my first time there, and I have to say I didn't enjoy it very much. The waiter was kind but knew nothing about either the dishes or the wine. The cured meat appetizer, with tigelle, was very good.
The duck breast pappardelle was flavorless and dry, while the fresh pappardelle were very good. The Lambrusco Otellino wine was good, and the lemon sorbet was also good.
