03/05/2026: This restaurant is beautiful, interesting, and charming, with beautiful, stunning rooms to sleep in. Excellent, delicious culatello, the most famous Parma food. The staff, both men and women, are excellent, welcoming their kind customers. I highly recommend this restaurant. The ghost of fumera', which in dialect means fog, is here. It's a playful spirit that wanders around at night when the fog falls, swaying the food hanging in the oldest cellars as it passes. To enjoy, century after century, the aroma of the best food in the world: culatello. Long live Parma, I send you my regards. Always honor life. ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🏅🏅🏅
26/04/2026: Dinner for two at a Michelin-starred restaurant. We ordered the tasting menu of various culatelli (€150 per person), and the food was truly excellent. Despite the kindness and helpfulness of the waiters, the service was very slow at various points during the dinner: we arrived at 8:15 PM and got up at 12:10 AM. Regardless, we'd recommend the place.

The atmosphere evokes memories of osterias—but classy ones—the service, cuisine, and hospitality are those of a restaurant that knows its stuff. The wine list is splendid—an interesting volume—presented by a skilled and attentive sommelier. The cuisine? Superlative. We'll be back.

To these dishes, we must add the first courses.
Tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù and ravioli filled with Parmesan cream!
Everything was truly exceptional! Special mention for the guinea fowl (you can see a half portion in the photo).
Everything was delicious!

A simple trattoria with home cooking! Tasty and delicious! We ordered a selection of cured meats with torta fritta, a caramel filled with taleggio and culatello, and an off-menu version of pumpkin-filled mezzelune (half-moons) served with Zola cream and walnut crumble, which was out of this world!
Then, to top it all off, we ordered a main course with mariolina, homemade mashed potatoes, and also amazing sauces!
Definitely highly recommended!

13/04/2026: Simply amazing! Very friendly and attentive service, incredibly good food! The star is so well deserved, as they perfectly balance the charm of a rustic trattoria with that of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Thank you for this wonderful experience and the best lasagna in the world!
12/04/2026: Everything was phenomenal, the tagliatelle with ragù was exceptional. The fixed menu was €55, and it was absolutely in line with what was offered. Well done!

13/04/2026: Everything was perfect, no doubt about it. I'd been wanting to dine at this restaurant for a while, and it exceeded my expectations. From the food, the welcome, and the location. We tried both the starters and the dessert trolley, everything was perfect.
04/04/2026: Excellent customer service, impeccable food quality, clean environment (impeccable bathrooms, to name the most "sensitive" example), the 5 stars are more than deserved.
Honorable mention goes to the selection of boiled and roasted meats, a Reggio Emilia tradition now (unfortunately) rare in local restaurants, but respected to the highest standards, accompanied by typical sauces. What else? Professionalism, courtesy, customer service, absolutely reasonable prices.
Spotlessly clean, well-spaced tables, a well-renovated, typical local building.

A charming, unique, refined place with a large outdoor area.
Welcoming and friendly staff.
Delicious and tasty food! Fried polenta? I've never liked it, but here...amazing, a must!
Highly recommended! You won't regret it.

08/03/2026: Ristorante Cattini is located in a hidden green area in the hamlet of l'Orologia in Quattro Castella.
The interior dining room is medium-sized and very quaint.
The staff is professional and friendly.
The menu features a few traditional dishes at reasonable prices for the quantity/quality offered, and there's a wide selection of wines.
Their strong point is the variety of boiled and roast meats from the cart, served freshly to each diner.
The zuppa inglese is truly delicious.
The bathrooms are clean, despite the squat toilet in the women's room, which isn't ideal for everyone.
Outside, there's a small play area and a patio with some seating.
27/02/2026: A place that's one of my favorites, where time has stood still for a few years in favor of substance. The first courses are good, and the roasts and boiled meats are expertly cooked.
If I ever come back to the area,
I'll definitely return.

Considering what we drank, the value for money is excellent.
12/04/2026: A truly lovely historic venue. All the dishes were delicious. Unfortunately, we noticed a particular rush—during dinner, at a "normal" time slot, while all the other tables were also full—in clearing the water and dishes from our table...even without our consent and even though they weren't finished. The restrooms were pleasant, with the sound of birdsong.
