26/06/2026: Excellent restaurant where tranquility reigns supreme. Delicious dishes (tagliolini with duck sauce and pici with ragu). Good portions and well-prepared. The innkeeper was truly friendly and excellent to talk to. The prices were in line with local fare. I will definitely return, as I ate in less than 30 minutes and left feeling satisfied. Thanks to all the staff.

25/06/2026: A little gem along a main road. You wouldn't guess its qualities from the location or the exterior. The dining room is peacefully rustic and wonderfully cool. Beautifully set tables spaced neatly apart. The space is decorated with many photos from the black-and-white cinema. The host is a true host. Honest advice and open in his approach to the cuisine and the wines. It is the kind of place where you find old-fashioned coziness while passing through. The plan was a quick lunch, but it ended up being the full three courses followed by coffee. Regarding the dishes: swordfish, smoked Angus beef carpaccio, tuna, turbot fillet, and a plate of pasta. Each a unique experience in itself, and together a wonderful lunch. For dessert, the lemon special, partly on the advice and with the chef's approval. All in all, a lovely spot for an extensive lunch. It could be less, but that implies a missed opportunity. We would love to come back sometime. And to finish off, we took some wine with us from the accompanying enoteca.

13/07/2026: I've been coming to the Vecchio Granaio for as long as I can remember. It's a cuisine that, along with home cooking, raised me. Here I learned to appreciate polenta, when it once was a delicious and rustic appetizer; I drank my first glass of whiskey shared with my grandfather; I bought countless polenta balls from the vending machines, always after the inevitable dessert; between a fettuccine and a plate of fries, I ran along the avenue, hopping like a cricket in the small ditch at the side of the road, which to my eyes seemed like a bottomless pit. I watched the place change and evolve, starting from family tradition to become something different, more elaborate, more "composed," but always with great attention to raw materials, pairings, and flavors. I realized something had changed during a wedding anniversary. Since I don't eat meat, which the evening's menu didn't take much into account, the kitchen was kind enough to quickly prepare me a small Margherita pizza, which still haunts me because of its deliciousness (probably the best I've ever eaten, but don't tell Grandma). Today, the restaurant has adapted to the times, with digital menus and reservations via the website (although you can still opt for more traditional methods), while the place is teeming with intrepid young people who juggle tables that aren't always easy to manage, with the typical friendliness of those who want to do things right because they care. These are changes that will never convince everyone, but it's those choices that make the difference between an ordinary restaurant and one you can't wait to return to. Once again.

19/05/2026: The location, nestled in the hills between Perugia and Assisi, is like a terrace overlooking both, surrounded by magnificent olive groves and featuring a large veranda. The exterior is truly stunning, while the interior, in my opinion, features a slightly less dark palette, making the atmosphere a bit gloomy. The staff is very young but attentive, courteous, and punctual. The restaurant was packed for the ceremonies, but we didn't wait long for the dishes. Well done! Considering the young staff, the menu is varied, with traditional dishes and more, all excellent and plentiful, using high-quality ingredients. For what we ate, the price was more than fair. Highly recommended.

11/07/2026: On the Countess's Road between Gubbio and Cagli, which connects that part of northern Umbria to Romagna passing through Montefeltro...typical, fragrant and well-seasoned crescia...a place to stop for snacks or even more structured meals, recommended.

10/07/2026: We had been to Cresceria in December and returned yesterday, July 9th...as usual, everything was fine, but I don't understand why the owner insists on calling this place a "cresceria"...in my opinion, it should be called "da Lorenzo il magnifico"...courteous, kind, and competent. Always top notch.
