26/04/2026: One of the best restaurants of our trip to Tuscany/Umbria. We were staying close by and ended up returning 5-6 times! We tried everything on the menu and there was not a single bad dish. As highlighted in an earlier review, the menu is not entirely traditional - they offer pasta and pizza (both of which are very good - the locals were all ordering pizza) but also dishes like tuna tartar. Our favourites were the truffle burrata, the beer marinated pork shank, and the margherita pizza (the kids’ favourite!). But more than anything, what made the restaurant so special was how warm and welcoming the owners were, and how this was truly a neighbourhood restaurant where people from all around the town gathered to dine, celebrate and be with friends. If the owners are reading this, we want to say thank you for making us feel like part of your family!

15/05/2026: We had a truly delicious lunch here yesterday. Both the starter (a kind of cheese tartlet with pear and lentils) and the pastas were sublime. A top chef is at work here! Super friendly service too, thanks for the warm welcome.

16/05/2026: The food was good and unpretentious, I'd say honest. The atmosphere was nice and refined, perfect for a quiet dinner. The service, however, was rather slow: over 25 minutes passed from when we were seated to when we could order, and in the meantime, tables that arrived after us were served. This is an area that needs improvement in terms of organization and professionalism. The owner, however, was very kind and friendly.

16/05/2026: Had an outstanding dining experience at Trattoria Pallot. Our reservation (recommended) was 7:30; we were warmly greeted and seated in the lovely interior and atmosphere. This is noted as a slow food experience, so we weren't in a rush! Our table of 4 ordered; Chicken Mediterranean (on special), ravioli with artichoke, 'cod' meatballs, and sausage with caramelized onion. All absolutely delicious. Half carafaes of the house red and white wines completed our meals perfectly. Plus desserts. We would absolutely recommend this establishment when visiting Assisi.

17/05/2026: A fantastic experience. Giorgione and his sons are cheerful. The dishes are characterized by goodness and refined ingredients.

03/05/2026: We spent the weekend of May 1st in Umbria, and encouraged by our son, who watches Giorgione on TV, we dined there on two evenings. Excellent quality, a generous appetizer buffet, a truly generous set menu, and everything was delicious! Giorgione is truly friendly; he stopped by to take photos with everyone at the table and chatted with everyone, especially the kids! What more can I say? A perfect weekend in a wonderful region.

28/03/2026: We had dinner two nights during a short three-day stay on Lake Trasimeno. The place was super welcoming, the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. The food...fantastic!!! The portions were just right considering the excellent quality of the cuisine. From fish to meat, from wine to dessert...everything satisfied our taste buds, with a special mention for the stuffed escarole, a Campanian dish that I adore! We'll be returning to Lake Trasimeno, and our regular stop will be Il Pod' di Domenico!

05/05/2026: If only I had 6 stars.......!!. A fantastic journey to discover the flavors of Basilicata. You absolutely must try the fava beans with chicory and the bread meatballs...and then everything else...the more the merrier! Enjoy your meal!!

14/04/2026: This very characteristic restaurant is located in the center of Deruta. It has outdoor seating and several indoor rooms. The tables and dishes are from the Domiziani company, very distinctive and colorful. The "bucco" is high-quality, and the carbonara with truffles is worth it. Fast and competent service. The prices are average.

11/05/2026: Recommended by the manager of the farmhouse where I'm staying, I tried it: spot on! The place is spacious, perhaps a little dimly lit, but very well decorated. Top hospitality! Let's get to the food: tagliatelle (handmade in-house) with delicious giblets, with the obligatory mopping up of the sauce (which was then mopped up with their freshly baked bread, a real treat!); the braised veal cheek with mashed potatoes (off the menu) was incredibly tender, but I would have preferred the baked potatoes; the homemade tiramisu was very good, but could have been better with a little more coffee. Total bill €40 (perhaps a little low considering my experience). Congratulations to everyone!

09/05/2026: I went back with some friends on Saturday the 9th and found the quality of the welcome, the authenticity and flavor of the food, and the impeccable service! Highly recommended! I'll be back!

The food is excellent: I felt like a child again, with the flavors of my childhood. Simple and authentic. A great passion and love for Umbria and its traditions. All customers are cared for and pampered as if they were the only ones there. So, are you still at home? P.S. 27/01/2026: It's a shame we only spent one night here: the rooms were very clean, the bed had a comfortable mattress and pillows, the breakfast was excellent, both sweet and savory, and there was the option of a delicious dinner in their restaurant. Above all, the helpfulness, kindness, and warm welcome of the entire family and staff stood out—truly exceptional!
