Passing through on the fly for work. Late evening and few places available nearby apart from this restaurant. The road route to get there is already beautiful. Nice and welcoming atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff.
Very good food and good wines.

Restaurant located in the hills adjacent to Perugia; precisely in Sant'Egidio. Suggestive location, framed by olive trees and cultivated fields make it a gem. We discovered this restaurant thanks to the fact that it is one of the few open on Mondays. Helpful and kind staff will welcome you and accompany you to your table.
The food, what can I say? Super! Excellent quality of products (some of which are produced by their own oil type). I had the opportunity to try a bit of everything but I highly recommend trying the wild boar hunter style with torte al testo and venison goulash with blueberries and polenta; both delicious and the meat remains very tender.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I haven't had a chance to enjoy the outdoor space yet but I'll be back in the summer for that!

For those who want to eat well, a lot and spend the right amount.
The bear tavern was a wonderful discovery. The location is really beautiful, on one side you can see Perugia and on the other the basilica of Assisi.
The interior is elegant, bottles of wine can be seen everywhere and make clear the restaurant's predisposition towards seeking out high-level cellars.
We had a starter of cured meats and it was really good and plentiful. A first course with tagliatella with asparagus, bacon and pecorino, and a cut. Really great food and generous portions. Spent 52 with two glasses of wine and water.

Di ritorno a casa dopo una gita ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante leggermente fuori mano dalla statale ma ne è valsa la pena... abbiamo preso un antipasto di salumi con delle focacce, buono ed abbondante, delle fettuccine al sugo di cinghiale ed una zuppa di lenticchie con crostini molto ricca e saporita, acqua da bere essendo pranzo... totale 32 euro. Bella esperienza.

Siamo stati consigliati dal nostro hotel e devo dire che non siamo rimasti per niente delusi anzi siamo stati piacevolmente accolti in un ambiente elegante e sofisticato che allo stesso tempo ci ha permesso di assaporare i sapori tipici della zona. Servizio veloce e personale cordiale e servizievole.
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
Se siete in zona dovete passarci!
