We stopped in Cascia for the sanctuary of Santa Rita and then stopped at this trattoria. It was a perfect choice; the owner, Walter, welcomed us very warmly without having to reserve a table for four. We ordered four tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, expertly prepared and seasoned in the kitchen by his wife. The aroma and the hunger meant we didn't have time to take any photos. ☺️ "We recommend."
For the main course, pork chop and various side dishes. Finally, he delighted us with the house dessert.
We personally complimented him and now we want to share this experience with other travelers.

We ate fettuccine and gnocchi with ragù, delicious, then equally delicious cutlet and to finish the dessert offered by the house, the quince tart, a delight, absolutely recommended 👍

The manager of the hotel where we stayed at the end of the Camino de San Benedetto recommended this small, family-run trattoria, run by friendly, kind, and welcoming people. We ate dishes prepared with quality ingredients, and the result was excellent food. At the end of the meal, Mr. Walter offered us all a small plate of homemade sweets, quince tart and aniseed biscuits. Everyone at the table appreciated the generosity and deliciousness of this gift.

Small but family-friendly place.
Very good, simple home-cooked food, but with top-quality ingredients.
The owner is truly kind and helpful.
The tagliolini with venison ragù was spectacular.
To finish, a complimentary house meal with four slices of homemade tart and biscuits with wild fennel and anise.
Five-star value for money.

Entering this restaurant feels like stepping back in time to the '90s. The menu is traditional, the quality/price ratio is good, and the staff is friendly and professional.
At the end of the meal, the owner offered us a sampling of local desserts... delicious...
