Chosen based on the positive reviews, which I absolutely agree with. Appetizer with authentic local cured meats and cheeses. Homemade truffle gnocchi and porcini mushroom tagliatelle. Quince jam tart with homemade biscuits. The owner is welcoming and extremely kind. Service was prompt despite the restaurant being packed. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back to try the gnocchi with venison ragù (the owner hunted the venison himself). Super fair prices. Thank you for contributing to a wonderful memory of this day in Cascia.

Wonderful service and fantastic food. My family couldn't have received better service after a visit to Santuário. The fettuccine con veado and the torta de quincelo were divine.

For our 48th wedding anniversary, we came to eat here.
Highly recommended restaurant. The dishes were generous and delicious. Impeccable service and a complimentary dessert were provided.

We eat at this place every time we come to Cascia and it has become our point of reference. Excellent food, delicious desserts, courteous and attentive staff. I highly recommend trying it.

Excellent choice!!!...an authentic trattoria that best represents home-made, zero-mile cuisine....the atmosphere is welcoming and familiar...the kindness and helpfulness of the owner are an added value.....the icing on the cake are the desserts offered by the owner, tarts filled with jams prepared by the owner's mother with fresh fruit from her own garden, spectacular wine biscuits (which we also purchased)...what can I say? When we pass through those parts again, we will definitely return....TOP!!!!

We had lunch at this trattoria, found by chance. Everything was excellent, we had the fettuccine with white roe deer ragù, really delicious😋 carbonara for children, excellent 👍 the delicious homemade desserts, the tart 🔝. Very kind owner, if you find yourself in Cascia, trattoria L'Appennino is the right place to eat 😋 .

Today I had lunch with my family at this bar-restaurant. I'd seen all the positive reviews, so I decided to go. The owner was very kind and recommended the best homemade tagliatelle with venison white sauce (delicious) and the grilled lamb, which was simply sublime. To finish, they offered a complimentary quince jam tart and biscuits, all homemade, so we ordered two tarts to take home. Highly recommended, and a wonderful compliment to the chef 🧑🍳. See you soon, and keep it up, the quality is evident at the table 👋👋
